Hunter used to be the aggro class, now it’s out aggro’d by druids.
Beasts? What support?
Discovery? Too slow and getting no extra love in the next expansion.
Handbuff? Too slow, no life steal.
Secrets? The community complains and complains about no interaction.
Face spell? See secrets.
Not feeling super stoked on this expansion either.

Right now we’re seeing the resurgence of zerg hunter/ a handbuffy type thing. Its actually super OP.
Remember shaffar broke zerg hunter so nobody played it afterwards for like a month. Now since last week someone brought a popular one to light with the starshooter weapon / no warsong grunts and suddenly its sitting at an absurd 60+ % win rate
I’m 10000% sure theres a hidden little hunter beast/deathrattle deck waiting to be discovered right now with something like tutoring the adaptive amalgam and buffing him to sin or something.
Theres a 2 cost card discover a beast make it cost less that is amazing and i dont see enough people using it. We’re all hung up on the shiny new zerg toy making two zergs 10/10 on turn 3.
Give it time i think hunter can shine in emerald drem
I mean it’s LITERALLY the best deck in standard right now. It just has a higher learning curve.
I still find weapon rogue more confusing, because it has multiple choices upon multiple choices usually. Zerg hunters are a bit complex (especially with Shaffar) but they make sense to me if I see a hand for what to play first.
