Play casual, you’ll thank me later. A lot more variety, a lot more enjoyment. More meme decks than anything.
I tried that, but every match in casual my opponent takes 3x the average length of time per turn that I get in standard. I haven’t thought much about why frankly, but that was the result. I’d rather lose in 3 minutes than be confused for 15.
Well the nice thing about playing casual is you can concede until you get the matchup you are looking for. People that take too long or purposely rope might as well look for a different match because nobody deals with that petty bs in casual play, just move on and leave their salty butts behind so they can waste their time looking for a different game.
I concede against 90% of priests and mages because their playstyle is lame and predictable. That’s the freedom of playing casual.
You can also join me in low MMR wild. Play anything against anything. Every match is different.
I tried, but players in that mode seem to have absolutely no desire to win and/or do their best. No efforts, weak moves, misplays. It is not fun.
Your MMR is too low. Win some more against the really, really bad players and you’ll find yourself in truly fun territory. I typically meme my way to D5 then play Astral Communion Druid to legend. Then go back to meme town.
It seems that I made this comment as an answer to your tip, but it was a mistake: I wrote about the casual mode. Sorry.
My mmr in the wild mode is too high, the wild mode is the place where I can enjoy fast combo decks, and sometimes I really enjoy them. But there are not too many changes in this mode.
I really don’t understand why they keep forcing this deathrattle crap on us in Standard
I was complaining about DK and DH dominance, and the result I got is simply another class replacing DK with the same number of decks the former had, and DH left changed for the worse back to slower, starship ones
Top decks are cancer and I sure as hell hope people are happy because I’m gonna be thrilled once I’m allowed to wipe my behind with their slow roping faces once this torture is over
And everything shall come to pass sooner or later. It’s gonna be bloody ridiculous to crappost in their whining threads when they go all:
“incompetent braindead aggro…”
on me, cuz in my eyes, if you need a value overload in every card you play to win games and feel good, you’re the one missing a brain.
/rant
I apologize to people I’ve offended, I’m simply too weak to break the generational trauma, it seems
I don’t think they are the strongest decks now, actually we also have some new decks, but…
Owlonius Druid. Drunk Lynessa Paladin. Protoss Mage. Protoss Priest. And yes, Starship DH and Starship DK. Cycle Rogue again, this deck seems to be immortal like a phoenix, it doesn’t matter how many times they nerf it, it survives.
What a new meta!
How’s that new
Older than Jesus xD
Older than Jesus’s mother
If they were brand new, I’d still be complaining about them. 1 game against this is a tragedy, 2 is for International court of war crime
There’s always a cockroach on the ladder, they can lose their heads and survive nukes and still be thriving
I’m not blaming anyone, especially people who are enjoying. God knows I did the same on a few cockroach decks last year
I just can’t believe they’ll get more than 1 full expansion minues 2 weeks it took for the meta to stabilize, it sounds like they can’t possibly give a chance for every archetype in 12 months with this pacing
I would kill to find out how many people played total in the last 3 months as opposed to the 3 months of last summer when the meta was hyper-aggro
But then again, none of those data would be too much reliable because last year Chinese server wasn’t opened so we wouldn’t be able to compare the numbers without assuming things we can’t possibly approximate
It was sarcasm, ofc. There are too many old decks in the ladder.
Just to be fair, new decks exist: Bandage Priest (since the start of the expansion), Quest Warlock (since the last patch), Quest Warrior, Quest Hunter (not quite good, but at least playable).
My bad xD
the “but…” thing made it abundantly clear you were bringing the post back on the topic of old decks
Just not to me, apparently xD
We could have more new decks btw.
The devs could buff Quest Paladin instead of nerfing it.
In this case we would have +1 new deck, but the majority of players would eat the devs alive, so I understand why the devs didn’t dare
Ay Ay, maybe if it was aggro meta they would but it seems they set their minds of making the majority of their playerbase happy for the time being
Can’t blame them with so many monetization changes lately, you gotta grind back that goodwill you threw to the wind somehow
And majority of this game’s playerbase are NPC-s who seem to enjoy playing 9-drops more than winning, so…
