I’m new to Battlegrounds and hate it just because I can not make any decisions within the way way too short timer given to me. I’ve barely read the cards before my time is over. In my 3 attempts I’ve had my hero auto-chosen for me because I’m still looking them over (only to find out later I got stuck with ones generally considered lousy.) I make even less progress on the minions, and as far as following the progress of the combat, yeah right.
I understand it must be set for what experienced players find fun, I just don’t understand why players with no ratings aren’t placed together and given way more time. Or maybe players could opt into a more reasonable timer. Or let me play all AI with no timer until I feel like I understand something about the game.
