Taking a break helps.

This is the only game which causes me stress too. All for the rewards! When I play the standard ranked mode I don’t feel the stress, only wild which is my main.

I read that if you lose 3 in a row you should stop playing for a while, tilted or no. I’ve had some success with it. Having a clear head is super important to this game.

I keep on forgetting to follow this rule, I put a decent anti Secret Mage deck together this evening, went on a rampage pulling double Mutanus combos at turn 5, it was absolute carnage and the most fun I’ve had in Wild for a long time, then I dropped 4 ranks because I didn’t know when to quit

I’m settling for D10 this season (highest I’ve made on the new ladder) because I cannot handle all these stupid druids.

I switch deck, druid.
I craft a new deck. Druid.
I switch decks again. Druid.

I am done for the season. I attempted Tombs of Terror (first chapter that was free) and gave up after unlocking everything for the mage/rogue class. Minus the ā€œbeat X amount of plague lordsā€ stuff.

His health went from 300 to 196 to 192 and its just not worth beating my head against the wall. My quest log is empty so I’m done for tonight, I think. And then maintenance mode the rest of the season.

Well done you are very close to legend only diamond 5 and then legend and now youl get bigger star bonus so youl get to diamond easier and also its gona take time to adjust to new ranks your facing better players.
Maybe google some decks that beat druids what are you facing.
Also have some fun duals in casual with meme decks or battlegrounds

Flintlock - its not the game it is us we choose how we react so lets choose to be calm

Read recently that this is just a game and you are supposed to have fun as such.

I didn’t want to create another topic for this. I’m bad at this game. I am stuck in low platinum. I’m getting very discouraged, as I’m on a losing streak at the moment. It feels like I am just not playing well. I know the best advice is to stop playing. It’s hard to pull away right now because I feel like I can climb if I keep at it. Gah.

For instance, I just played terribly versus a paladin and their secrets. I didn’t play around them like I should have. Namely Oh My Yogg. sigh

I believe part of my issue is multitasking and reading, watching videos, etc. while playing. But, that’s probably just me making excuses.

Just wanted to share. Thanks.

How could you play around your spell turning into a completely random other spell anyway? Oh My Yogg is busted, don’t feel bad for losing to it.

That’s not an excuse, it’s a valid reason to not be playing well. Of course you’re not always going to play optimally when you’re trying to pay attention to multiple things at once.

Well, after my whining here, I stopped multitasking and paid attention. Won enough games in a row to finally reach platinum five.

Getting frustrated over a video game is lame. Stop taking your work stress out on HS.

It took me many years to reach legend i can give you some advice and i only improved after being coached by a legend player for free.
Thank you Marchosias.
The first thing is to play slower i used to play very fast and not think but sometimes it helps to just take your time and think what is the best play.
Basically in a nutshell each round you can make the best possible play or the suboptimal play.
Always know how much dmg you can do on board, some players miss lethal oppertunities by trading instead of going face.
Keep track of your opponents hand if he has kept a card for several rounds it could be lategame threat possible a combo peace, granted i need to work on handreading abit more.
Manage your resources, resources are still important i try and clear a board using my resources optimally because if you use 2 cards to clear maybe a minion and u only needed to use 1 then later on that card you just used maybe have come in handy.
Always know your deck wincondition and how the oponents deck plays this will help you how you approach the match as well as what u muligan for.
I hope this helps have a good day.

I’ve been doing this more often with each new release, I main Warlock and my complaint is that games last a fraction of what they used to, I don’t get any satisfaction beating someone with questlock, but it’s the only viable deck in a super fast meta.

Dont play the deck if ther is no satisfaction its that simple, secondly ive had a slight tilt relapse playing this meta.
Make winning or losing fun and then the game will feel great.

I clearly need to turn up the volume on my virtue signalling.

Even though I have the option to play a broken deck I choose not to, I choose not to play at all.

Surely you have other decks that you can play or even wild.

The lord will forgive your sins my child, for you have confessed.

Now leave with a clear conscience and never again stray from the guided path our one true lord solataire has provided you.

Only if you’re misplaying due to playing too much or lack of sleep, etc.
