What do you guys think of them? Me, i understand why they chose only to show priest/mage/lock, the other ones are just ugly

Keeping in mind that sour grapes are probably colouring my thoughts quite strongly (I’m nowhere near 1000 wins with any of my classes, mainly due to the fact that after getting the golden heroes for all 9 I mostly goofed around in Casual mode with meme decks):
Mage, Priest, Paladin and (maybe) Warlock seem nice
The other five range from “meh” to “For its own good, it needs to die” (WTH happened to Rexxar? He aged 50 years and gained 100 pounds?)
The best thing about the new portraits is the comment for each of them.

Valeera’s and Garrosh’s look really interesting. The respective Pirate/Old Gods vibes aren’t things I expected but they give a really cool and different aesthetic to the heroes.
Thrall’s is cool but I don’t see myself using it over my boi Rastakhan (which is a real shame given that Shaman is the only class I’ve sunk 1000 wins into).
I don’t want to talk about Hunter’s. It speaks for itself. Terrible portrait imo.
I don’t know. I haven’t seen them, can’t find a link and I checked the portrait page in the client but I didn’t see them there either.
I also browsed the news articles on the official Hearthstone site and didn’t find them either.
I only have one golden portrait (Hunter) and 100-200 wins for every other class.
have you updated your game? they should be in the portrait page

Have you tried updating your client? They should be at the end of your roster in the Heroes tab once the client updated and the Hallow’s End event starts (you can tell because you get bonus packs and an Arena quest)
Yeah, I also think that some are really subpar.
I’m in the USA using an iPad and I’m not seeing anything new in game as far as I can tell.
The Rise of Shadows buffs did not immediately hit mobile as far as I could tell because for a day or 2 I’d see videos of 3/6 Thunderheads and such but me and my opponents had 3/5 Thunderheads and such for a day or 2 while I’m assuming the PC version had already updated.
The only 1000 win hero I have is Rexxar and I’m curious as to what it looks like.

I have the mage at 1000 + games. Although when I select the Fire Mage, I can’t use it, and Heartstone deletes the deck I build with it. Happens every time I try.
Also If I use a already build deck, and try to change the Avatar, it turns back to normal Jaina. Very annoying.

The Warlock one is nice. I feel anyone who is passionate about Warlock is satisfied with it.
I actually also liked Malfurion a lot despite not having it. Has me wanting to strive for it sometime.
Jania’s looks a lot nicer than I thought, as the animation helps with this.
Valeera is decent, but for a rogue they went super overboard on the pirate theme. Despite pirates being cool lol.
Uther an Thrall are tied. They look pretty good but nothing super imo only.
This leaves Garrosh, Anduin an Rexxar. These imo are the worst 3 by far. Anduins just misses the mark for me. I don’t like it at all. I know this is a Halloween event but Garrosh just looks blahhh. Couldnt they have him wielding Gorehowl with a slashing movement or something?
An lastly Rexxar… Huge “That didn’t quite hit the mark” emote x1,000. The animation also screws with his head if you watch it. Whoever A-ok’d his art did a garbage job.

Looks pretty awesome. Won’t be getting it any time soon, but definitely has a good feel to it.
Hunter
Looks derpy as heck. Not impressed.
Mage
Hella badass, love it.
Paladin
Also sweet and a good improvement over the original, just like Druid.
Priest
I’m no big Anduin fan, but it’s nice to finally see Manduin instead of the goofy teen pic.
Rogue
A pirate? Seriously?
Shaman
Classic Thrall, badass lightning. Love it.
Warlock
Finally green, looks as awesome as Mage IMO.
Warrior
If going overboard on Pirateyness was silly, this is outright dumb. Maybe I missed something and each portrait actually has a specific theme/specialization to it, but this is too on-the-nose. Would make a neat card, not a generic portrait.

I have 1000 wins as Hunter and the new Rexxar portrait will dethrone Madame Lazul as worst portrait in the game.
Also: What I thought was the new Portrait for Thrall is actually the new portrait for Guldan.

Warlock: Good upgrade. Fel Green > Purple. For me.
Druid: Is my 2nd favorite new portrait. Probably because it gained green colors and lost purple as well.
Paladin: Looks like hes seen some stuff.
Rogue: Looks good.
Warrior: Reminds me of Kage from Street Fighter 5.
Shaman: Lightning is cool.
Priest: Anduin looks angry? and lost shadow-mind-trickery magic?
Hunter: Rexxar looks half asleep.
Mage: Fire is cool. I like frost or arcane more though.

The only one I’m really disappointed with is Hunter. He looks way too derpy, his head is too small and you can’t even tell what’s going in with his legs. I really wanted Rexxar to look dignified, but I guess you can’t look like that when you’re half ogre? Entrance animation, hero power animation, hero boarder and emotes would have been a great addition, but I’m alright without it.
I just saw the Hunter one for the first time and I’m dying laughing.
I needed confirmation that Hunter is really Huntard and boy does this portrait prove it. Hahahahaha
