So it’s been open most of the day now, any thoughts? What kinds of decks are you building?

I dusted off my wild dragon priest with some deckbuffing (Surrender to Madness, Lady in White) for flavor.

Any old decks you’d never thought you’d see again? I nearly facepalmed when Coldlight Oracle hit the field. I’d forgotten all about that…‘nuisance’. I wanna dub a decktype FTK (Few Turn Kills) that are emerging in the ring. What craziness have you all seen?

Treachery warlock seems kinda strong.

I was using basic treachery with Apothecary for OTK.

Though I was a victim of Majordomo Treachery (I forgot this one :smiley: )

They brought Ice Block back. Mages immune at fatal. So OTK unending fireball mage is back.

Valen Malygos OTKs I have seen. Some old Warlock OTKs.

I actually would have just won but Ice Block back to back to back is back again.

Odd paladin is fun in any mode

I don’t have wild cards so I just played standard hunter.

Turn 2 master’s call into Turn 4, Rhino+Unleash+Crackling+Hyena+Timber+Springpaw

I ran Malygod Rogue (1-1) and Big Rogue (1-1) as I had a Rogue Quest to do.

Big Rogue was a lot of fun in the mode; however, Malygod is quite good. I messed up and still almost beat a Warrior who was trying to stack armor so that is saying something.

I think Ice Block Mage is the best.

That happened to me once. I briefly considered whining about it on the forums but then I decided to run eater of secrets instead since I was seeing tons of mages.

What’s Malygod and Big? Majordomo Treachery? Illuminate me.

I’m using (discover your spell) to get extra Surrenders. The ‘whadu I need mana for?’ stage arrives a tad earlier in the ring, mathwise. Change in the spare for big minions? Seems a good investment.

I was memeing with Rogue and learned a new fact.

Shadowstep will make Lynessa return herself back to hand. I thought I was screwed when they Shadowsteped Zola, gg :rofl:

Just ran into a shaman going full value town and not shying from the overload. I hadn’t seen that before. I think I wanna try an overload shaman and see where that goes.

One thing I like about these brawls is that with each passing day, players are discovering new, refined combos and deckbuilds. By the weekend we can easily see what the top decks are.

And then someone gets a brand new idea Sunday and comes home to find registration closed early. :\

Also one of the worst decks ever made is back.

Team 5 knows this deck very well. Its been complained about and basically banned from play but now its back.

Rogue Coldlight Oracle Spam.
Dk Valeera and a billion Coldlight Oracles.
Dk Valeera can be put out at what turn 5 if in opening hand?

Now spam Oracles for Mill Rogue.

I now upgrade Team 5 fail to Epic Fail.

I beat the second one I faced as I had cold light oracle. I made them over draw on their turn for 1 fatigue. Win.

Been playing Snowfury/Spellstone Shaman and having a blast. Turns out that Overloading for 3 doesn’t matter as much when your cards get reduced anyways, lol.

I hadn’t thought of Oracle Rogue getting great new cards since the mrgl went hall of fame, and the deck vanished from standard (my stomping ground). It’s like it’s back with a vengeance. It went from aggravatingly efficient to a simple miracle of atrocity.

I’m messing around with spectral cutlass, pirate rogue, academic espionage deck thing just having fun flooding my hand with random stuff getting it discounted its been doing alright. Mostly mages I see out there but overall I’m finding this to be a fun brawl.

Played mecha’thun druid and hakkar druid if. U have autionneer and mechathun on opening hand, u can pull off the combo by turn 6 or so.
