This Meta is Dull

That is generally how games are won in Hearthstone.

Unless you’re Control Priest, in which case it’s to make the other person concede from boredom.

Oh, absolutely! Playing an early game deck and fighting for board control is so much fun! Who needs the excitement of seeing their big, flashy end game plays when they can instead experience the thrill of trading 1-drop minions back and forth for the first six turns? It’s like watching paint dry, but with more RNG. And who doesn’t love the feeling of their opponent conceding because they’ve run out of minions to play, not because of any clever strategy or well-executed plan on your part? It’s the best feeling in the world, really. So yes, forget about that pesky end game and embrace the glory of the early game slog.

It isn’t trading one drops and it’s nothing like playing with/against blood dk, which is literally less fun than watching paint dry because watching paint is much more active than blood.

End game happens sooner than you think it does, and that’s the issue. If you want to build to that turn twenty timmy play, you’re SoL in this game.

Actually, grinding paladins off the board and out of cards in hand until they concede is actually really fun if you haven’t tried it. I didn’t know this until recently, but they will cuss you out for it if you’re lucky!

The big answer is the game is clearly rigged to make you hate it so you will buy more packs and it seems like it is working as intended, so go buy those packs!!

Oh, absolutely! Grinding Paladins off the board and out of cards in hand until they concede is just the epitome of fun. Who needs actual gameplay when you can just frustrate your opponent until they rage quit? And let’s not forget the added bonus of being cussed out by your opponent. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of some colorful language from a complete stranger over a game of cards? It’s like winning the lottery, but with more insults.

And of course, the game is clearly rigged to make you hate it so you’ll buy more packs. Because why bother with balance and fair play when you can just manipulate people into spending more money? It’s a brilliant business model, really. So go ahead and buy those packs, folks. Who needs financial stability when you can have the satisfaction of opening virtual card packs?

Lol

You took this so harshly. Are you a Paladin player? Or do you not realize you can enjoy a game your way and someone else can enjoy it another. There meme decks made over the years meant to simply counter and annoy top deck(s). It’s a form of play like Fatigue Rogue, another deck meant to make it so your opponent doesn’t get to play.

Go away, please. Unless you have proof, please, just go. Thanks!

Cestea you took that a little harshly. Soulblighters posts are honestly quite entertaining when you read it in a tone of sarcasm.

Laugh at it.

Cool. How many of these do I have to run in order to counter all of the things I need to silence that priest can play and also resurrect? How many tech cards do I need to water my deck down with in order to compete with busted design?

starfish costs 4, 4/3 comes down with double res on turn 3, so tank 8 damage to the face over 2 turns drop starfish which is do nothing gain a 2/4 and the 4/3 gets to swing face a 3rd time ?

ok there are cheaper silences but it still does not prevent them rezzing 2 more for 2 mana then another 2 after that !

an ideal answer would be something like devolve or devolving missiles, it takes out the deathrattle, removes the undead graveyard bonus, the only other thing I can think would be freeze

Yeah, the problem is in fact powercreep. All the aggro decks have extreme hand refresh. Aggro priest has those 1 mana draw 2s, the 2 locations for 3 draws each (Meaning they can draw 1/3 of their deck from card effects alone). Pirate rogue has a 5 health minion that draws with every swing, along with those new finale cards that draw and give weapon attack. Mech paladin has radar, pure paladin has the taunt legendary and several smaller and larger cards to draw. Frost DK has too much tutoring with frost spells and frost spells that draw more frost spells.

They gotta tune down the damn card draw for aggro. Back in the day, if you lost your board as aggro, you’d probably have run out of steam or had 1 more board in you. Now it’s just endless board blobs every turn due to all the draw.

The worst part is the battleground meta is now exactly the same…mindless aggro snowball.

The meta is always dull.

The meta is always dull when you play decks that start doing things on Turn 5.
