This is kind of fascinating

I am normally pretty quick to call out the dev team for their mistakes. But, I am always willing to give them praise when it is due.

The past 2 days I have been playing a hefty amount of Lamplighter rogue of my own build. In these past 2 days I have climbed about 3000 ranks in legend. Not too bad for pretty casual play.

Here is the fascinating part. I have seen more class diversity in this climb than at any time since I came back to the game almost 6 months ago. During my climb I have seen: Horizon’s Edge/control DK, Face/Pirate DH, Ramp Druid, Big Spell and OnlySpells Mage, Hand Buff Pally, Reno Priest, Lamplighter/Excavate Rogue, Swarm Shaman, Reno and Hydration Station Warrior.

The 2 underrepresented classes, for me, have been Hunter and Warlock. I have barely seen either.

I think we have finally hit the point of “Everything is broken so everything is balanced.” OTK is keeping control in check. Agro is keeping OTK in check. Control is keeping agro in check. Midrange is really the hardest to play at the moment.

My sample size is not massive to be sure and I could be wrong. As for now, I am loving the fact that I get to play vs almost every class instead of the same 3. I hope it continues.

So you’re abusing a clearly broken card. Got it.

people are so desperate to get to legend to prove something to someone that they cant help themselves but immediately run to the most broken deck every time. nothing new here

I got into legend using Excavate rogue, not Lamplighter.
