You implied that because Duel Links does one specific thing that Hearthstone doesn’t, then HS is behind it in some way. And that is a comparation. Maybe it wasn’t your intention but it seemed like it.
And finaly, sorry, but it is silly to ask for events like the ones that you want. Not because we cant hope for more, but for the oposite, we CAN HOPE FOR WAY MORE. Anything that you thing that might be a good event, would be better as a new mode or a new adventure. Thats how Hearthstone has being working and thats why events are not what you expect, because all the big ideas deserve to be more than just an event.
Basically, Hearthstone has shown that it can do better than what you are asking for.
