This explain a lot about hearthstone future

TLDR?

Top comment on Youtube is : “Long story short : Finance people sucking the fun out of Blizzard teams and games for more green. Gosh I hate that”

That’s what I already assumed. And I see something more specific. Sacrificing the long term for the short term profit since some people get fed up and don’t return at all.

Not nearly enough people. Millennials will support Blizzard for their entire lives, regardless of what Blizzard does. Because nostalgia is a heck of a drug.

They’re not enough. Half of the population just stops playing any video games when they near 40.

Leeching money from a minority of people up to their 50s isn’t sustainable long term.

One half must be your favorite number. Whenever you say it, you’re assuming things in the absence of evidence and pulling a number out of nowhere. If I were you, I’d ban myself from saying it.

You know it’s a figure of speech. At the very least they don’t play for many hours a day.

Blizzard games had most of the heavy lifting being done by young adults in college.

Not the half I know. About the only people I know over 40 that stopped gaming were the poeple that died.

I play several hours of hearthstone on a daily basis and I am over the age of fifty.
