This deck should never exist, in any world

like sorry mage mains, all of your decks and cards are really cool, but if im playing a game where a mage played…

2 coldlight oracles
1 ice block
2 solid alibis
1 frost nova
1 Renathal
1 varden dawngrasp
1 sing along buddy
1 reckless apprentice
1 brann bronzebeard

and of course 1 Magister Dawngrasp

In this specific order

Coldlight into
Renathal into
ice block into
Varden into
frost nova into
solid alibi into
solid alibi into
Magister dawngrasp into
sing along buddy + Brann +reckless apprentice

For context, I was playing automaton priest. and I played in this order…

Automaton into
Embalming ritual into
coin+Grave rune into
Spirit split into
delayed product(got a 9/9 with rush) into
Aman thul lifesteal into

who evenm cares, my board is frozen, or my opponent only takes 1 damage at a time, has ice block, so even if somehow I got lucky enough for this bull to not take place, I WOULD STILL HAVE TO GET THROUGH ANOTHER TURN, AFTER KILLING HIM.

There are lots of wild dekcs that dont deseve to exist, arcane giant rogue for example

But this mage deck cannot be described without using words that would get me banned.

I think Blizzard should stop balancing Wild mode. I don’t mind it passively existing, but it’s a waste of developer energy to maintain. It’s not feasible to balance a format that never rotates cards out. You should stop expecting fair play in such a format; it’s unrealistic.

as unrealistic as it is, it doesnt makie me hate it less

what it goes to show is that making these cards in the first plce was just bad.

ice block was always hated

Solid alibi was too

the others are fine, frost nova is annoying and should be 4 mana, but whatever

It’s just mathematically more complex by a few dozen times so it has no chance if Standard is a problem to balance well. I’d say reduce its rewards (make it some kind of Casual); it’s partly already that; the official competitions (that have big monetary prizes) are Standard.
