Think i had a cheater in battlegrounds

They were playing Alexstrasza, and they had 1 HP left. I beat them, and their portrait exploded like it normally does when you win. But the match didn’t end, and I had to fight them two more times before they managed to outscale me and win. That alone was fishy to me, but there was another instance in the last fight where I used the tavern spell upper hand on them, and the health of their minion went down to 1. Then, when the fight started, the minion’s health completely reset back to what it originally was.

All in all, I’m not super salty about losing since I got second place. However, I can’t help but feel like first place was robbed from me by a cheater. If this was a bug or something, then alright, stuff happens. But if it was a cheater, then it was a scummy thing to do.

Well known bug
The game can desync and show each player a different oucome for the fight
In that case you only lose health if you see yourself lose the fight
If both players see themselves winning, none will actually lose health

Usually this bug is caused by an effect in the game. Can be a card, a hero power, an anomaly… But if the cause isn’t clearly identifiable, they struggle to find a fix for it

Thank you very much for the reply. Like I said, if it’s a bug, I’m fine with losing the match.

I’ve been spectating a team mate after I’ve already lost in the BG and been witness to a different outcome of the combat than what the person sitting right next to me saw on their monitor. I saw it live on both screens side by side how on my side I saw them lose, and on their screen they won. However after the combat was over and the match moved onto the next recruit phase neither player’s health totals had changed. (draw essentially).

It was super weird to see the desync not as the player against the other opponent with different combat outcomes, but as a mere spectator of only my buddy’s POV for the combat.
