I’ll reply to you because you have a sane approach and are interested in actual dialogue rather than rambling nonsense. I won’t be responding to Cardmaster anymore.
You bring up valid points. I don’t think anyone says LOR is perfect. I still play both games and both have strengths and weaknesses.

I do think wildcards could exist in HS, but I agree, not at the rate they appear in LOR. Dust returns are pretty abysmal in HS and that is my major complaint about the game. I’m not F2P because I choose to support the HS devs for all their hard work, but my kids and wife are and I was for a long while…it is a struggle early on as a newish player. My support is to reward the devs for a well made game but that doesn’t mean the game is perfect and I think there could be a balance where there is more reward and an easier way to get certain decks.

LOR is newer and it can certainly go off the rails but for now it is more balanced. There are many decks that are viable and the tiers are flatter. Sej and TWE are both strong cards but neither are without counters. I play off meta decks that aren’t S or A tier and still do just fine. You can in HS as well since that’s what I do here too. I will say it’s easier for me to level up in LOR with off meta decks.
I do agree with you on the balance changes - I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Blizzard’s willingness to make balance changes sooner and more decisively than in the past. The one downside is now everyone cries for nerfs in the forum every time they lose but that’s not the devs’ fault.
Long story short, both have their merits. If someone doesn’t like one or the other, that’s fine. LOR is fun for me and has flaws, sure, but so does HS and they are a nice change of pace from each other. I merely answered the post’s title and Cardmaster completely derailed any coherent conversation thereafter. I thank you for being civilized in your responses.
