Things Hearthstone could steal from Runeterra?

For those of us playing both games, is there anything Blizzard could adapt from Runeterra to improve things over here?

  • I ll agree 100% with madmax on wildcards. Even if they re available just for money, buying a legendary wildcard for 5-7$ lets say would be really great.

  • As already mentioned like 100 times before, a more generous economy

  • Another thing i d go for is one free draft (Arena in Hs case) per week like in LoR. They could add this to the tavern brawl rewards.

  • More interactions between cards and heroes would add a lot more flavour to the game as well

And last but not least - THIS GAME NEEDS SOME PROPPER BALANCE. I m bored of the meta to be changed only by nerfs, buffs etc. Runetera has managed to create everlasting changing metas (at least till now) just by releasing prooper balanced cards. Now of course the overall gameplay rules, help towards this but still i havent seen an everlasting changing meta in Hearthstone since Un’goro.

mechanically I can’t see much…a lot of lor’s keyword interact with the ‘declare attacker / declare blocker’ thing and many of those that dont, like regenerate or quick attack are immensly more powerful in a scenario where the attacker chooses what to attack.

we already have ‘overwhelm’ on knuckles, it would be need to be renamed (or not, they took rish verbatum from shadowverse after all)

we already kind of have legendary that level up over the game (c’thun, the primes, galakrond), that could be expended upon, but since we cant have more than one per deck it couldnt really be a core mecanic.

the spell mana mechanic would make druid and mage insane

I don’t think there are many gameplay aspect that would translate well between the very different mechanics

Adding one to the Wildcard. I also think the weekly reward drives people to play more, so that is something they could add. And playing against the AI actually counts towards your quests.

a weekly reward would be very cool! even if it’s just a bounch of dust, you can plan to craft new cards every week (which is one thing that i like about LoR: every week i can choose a new champion to try new stuff. in HS i feel like i am wasting precious dust when i’m crafting an epic that i like)

  1. Super Fast Concede Animation for the Conceding Player.

  2. Show publicly known cards in the opponent’s hand Face Up instead of Face Down.

  3. 6 Emote Slots, with player chosen Emotes.

  1. Spacebar on PC to end turn instead of clicking Button.

  2. Split Map Skins.

  3. Shop Pets on the Map.

  4. Not from Runeterra, but more instruments on maps. I love Saviors of Uldum Maps Toes.

I agree on all of these although I don’t really get the pets. Are they something from League of Legends? I love the cosmetic options in LOR but those pets I haven’t paid for.

Also, everyone who said wildcards - YES PLEASE.

It ruins the game man. I don’t wanna insult you but would you pay $29.99 for a Legendary ignoring the fact every 40 packs and first 10 packs are one Legendary? The whole point of the dust is telling players, they shouldn’t pay for singles either waste money on bulk or play harder. The count down timer is the best just let it be and don’t let the rich boi buy all for $2000, I never want to see some rich noob having a full deck of golden Legendary it really bugs me… :grimacing:
And a Legendary for $7 would definitely be pay to win it’s too unfair for players who pay bulk you are all anti pay to win why you support it this time HS should be time consuming my boi.

It’s $3 to buy and I’ve never bought any. Wildcards are acquired through play more often than not. Shoot, I got two this morning from a single capsule. Then I could choose any champ I wanted. Sounds better than hoping over 40 packs I get the exact legendary I need.

And pretty much everyone in this thread is asking for it…except you.

Sounds like hoping for a fifth floor in your house without a third floor, if then HS must be reworked. Can’t you see what Blizzard want? we are like a one year old begging a mom for a tiger.

The thread is literally asking “what would you bring over to HS?” I answered as did everyone else. And what house has 5 stories? Where do you live?

This is equivalent to ask for a fifth floor in a house when the basement isn’t even finished yet. Not like my country has any house like this but can’t you understand cheap deal isn’t a thing in HS and it should either drain your wallet or time?

You complain that people don’t post seriously but when they do and you don’t agree you just post walls of text explaining why they are wrong.

I used my evidence to prove them wrong, bulks of evidence just to say a no. And what did they say, they insulted the devs are apes, calling this game free shredded paper and I said what they said and why they should stop shouting and use more efficient denials instead of infuriating, insulting threads.

The thread which says “LoR is taking over!” linked to a thread had someone insulting HS, see it yourself. I said they said bad words and should stop, and they call me a troll because they don’t like me denying with evidence, huh.
