These nerfs will improve the game!, opinions please

How is Snake Oil a counter play?

There already isn’t a counter unless you kneecap yourself and play DK plagues - good luck with your high IQ choice of plague DK for this meta.

Also, it forces Reno players to play a real singleton deck, not the high draw decks they play with multiple copies (e.g., Wheel warlock, Warrior).

it shuffles in 2 snake oils into the opponent’s deck which are duplicates

I didn’t see the seller on the other line - LOL sure, go play Snake Oil Seller as a counter and let us know how it goes. I’ve seen zero decks run it.

Is it possible that this could drive the deck completely out of play? D0nkey seems to have it around Tier 2. This could drive it down to T3 or T4, no? Another turn for the opponent would have a huge impact.

I’d support this, but doesn’t the Concede button already do this? After all, it’s just two clicks… wait… that sounds familiar… hmm…

No it wouldn’t. Wheellock is a Forge of Wills deck first, a Fanottem deck second and a Wheel deck third. Most matchups would be unaffected.

Does not work vs quest mage. The quest overrides it. Everything needs major changes.

This is obviously a Standard thread.

Actually there’s a good modified Plague DK going around that isn’t a bad deck all around. It also just happens to destroy the Highlander decks. Mostly because you just get the horseman online asap and discover more than most decks can handle.

I feel like most of my wins are from the Wheel. I have won a few on big threatening minions, but maybe my build is designed more to get to the Wheel sooner.

I’ve never used it myself personally but I’d imagine it could work, you’d just kind of have to get lucky enough that they don’t draw one, and even if they do and use it instead of trading it means they’ve wasted a card draw for that turn

I don’t play standard. Your problems are not my problems.

It would be stupid to make a highlander card always able to trigger the battlecry without allowing any disruption.

What you do to standard effects wild. So yes, it matters.

I can’t wait to see people complain about the next Mini-Set :smile:

You seem to take pleasure in the suffering of others. Seek help.

In my opinion you have no idea what suffering really means, complaining in front of a screen about a game is not suffering but stupidity :v:

Typing nonsense messages requires as much time as complaining in front of a screen.
You don’t shy away for that though.

So much agree with ya. Wheel is a card that becomes problematic once thebdeckbit is in is too good. It should be a meme and a dream and it’s way too competitive.

You’re a tough guy, a tough nut to crack, there’s no doubt about that.
Imagine being at work, spending time reading a load of bullsh*t on this forum between one movie and another and you even get paid, idyllic don’t you think?
Don’t take it so seriously, its not good for you

Tier 2 is too good? Do you also want to nerf every single T1 and T2 deck? Or is it just this deck, perhaps because it makes you feel bad when you lose to it?
