This is happening to me in every game mode. I did not have a duels run active prior to release of Barrens so it’s not that. I can’t start any game -standard, wild, duels, tavern brawl - all give that same error.
I tried a scan and repair and then did a full reinstall nothing worked.

Same here. But i have only tried the main modes. Wild and Standard didnt work, but classic did worked.

Ya I hadn’t tried classic, just did and that one did work. The one game mode I have zero interest in. Ugh.

The issue has to be with Barrens cards, I tried playing an old pre-barrens deck in wild and the game started. Any mode in which I try to use a card from new expansion I get the error. So we can rule out network issues, etc. Something to do with the cards for sure.

I tried using my phone to play and I don’t get the same error message, it just knocks me offline when I try to start the game. So now I know it’s not a client issue even. And ya, small indie company indeed.

Right Wild seems to work too with my old decks.

Anyone know how to get in touch with someone who can look at this? Or is this forum it, just hope someone sees it and I get to play before 4/1 and can’t climb any more.

Old decks work, new decks with new Barrens cards won’t work.

  • (NEW) A bug where queueing for ranked Standard, Wild, Casual, or Duels can fail if you or the opponent you’re matching with has Golden Core Set cards in their deck.

mb if all try to remove this cards game starts again

Same, hoped to play HS today and try new cards, but going to watch tv instead… Btw made a deck with no barrens cards, it still happening.

PS2: made another deck. Only darkmoon faire cards, and it works. So prolly its barrens AND core cards.

I took out ALL golden cards. I can confirm this does seem to fix the problem, but only after I finally found someone else without golden cards as well. I had to keep trying to hit the play button after getting the error, 3 times at least before it worked.
