There is way too many totem shamans in Wild format

There is way too many totem shamans in Wild gameplay can there be a NERF in some way to Totem Shaman so we can get a variety of wild decks rather than have 95% of the decks you face are totem shaman I basically have to make a countertotem Shaman deck to climb and it’s quite boring

Bots. You’re playing bots.

Unironically, totem shaman is the only thing keeping control and OTK decks in line. It’s a pick your poison kind of situation. I agree totem shaman needs to be dealt with but the alternative is you play even more Shudderwock OTK or something else.

Until cards start getting banned, I think totem shaman actually makes Wild more playable. But yeah, it doesn’t feel great.

Deck police …

I agree the amount the totem shamans is growing out of control. Apparently most are bots. Like someone mentioned though hyper aggro decks keep greedy decks in check. That being said I’m sure they could make a subtle adjustment to tone down the number of totem shamans. Seems like the only decks I encounter are totem shaman, or shadow priest.

For the most part. Not entirely.
There are some folks legitimately playing this deck, and Pirate Rogue as well.
I come across a couple real players, piloting these decks, on most days now.

It’s no longer just the Chinese bots; I suspect a lot of “normal” players have started botting with the deck, too, given the apparent inability of Blizzard to get the problem under control.

Ban waves don’t have any noticeable (from players’ point of view) effect, so I can only think of a couple possibilities to “fix” the problem: 1) re-open Classic mode, and hope that the bots flock to it; 2) nerf into unviability any deck that becomes popular with bot accounts. That means even shaman and pirate rogue to start. If the bots switch to another deck, nerf it too, and keep nerfing the bots’ favorite decks until they abandon the mode.

It’s a matter of incentives. Right now, the incentive is for people to bot in Wild, and the disincentive – banning – is laughably inadequate for most of the botters. Given proper incentive/disincentive, Wild should clear right up.
