The wild Gods quest is impossible

Ive been trying this quest for more than 5 hours and this quest is absolutely impossible.

there are 2 possibilities that happens almost always:

  1. You die well before you reach enough mana to play wild gods.
  2. You are likely to reach enough mana and play wild gods, but your opponent leaves.

I didnt try the quest on ranked mode, I tried on casual and tries my best to lower MMR but still it’s basically impossible. I really dont like to complain about quests being too hard, but this quest is really different.

weeklies are meant to be done over the week

not all at once

What deck you using? You can do quests with friends too. If you need someone to do this with. Hit me up but first I need a deck for it as well.

Did it in like a 2 hours with imbue paladin, which uses ursol + malorne. It took me about 10 games.

Do it in Druid. Ramp hard, imbue a lot, and don’t care if you actually win the match. That’s what I did.

I have a Shaman Deck that can get you 6 - 8 Wild Gods per game, as long as you’re playing with a friend. But if you can’t play with a friend, it’ll take longer:

Edit: Ignore this first tip bc you already are in Casual
Secondly: Spam the “Hello” emote.
Third: DO NOT ATTACK. Throw your minions down to make some more room in your hand. But don’t attack. Just keep Emoting “hello” and playing your cards.

The combo you’re looking for is to Imbue 4 times before Malorne comes up on turn 8/9.
You want to have at least one Brewmaster in your hand.
The biggest thing is to wait until you have Shudderblock.
Play Shudderblock, then play Malorne. You should have three 1-Cost Wild gods in your hand.
Brewmaster Malorne back to your hand and play Mini-Shudderblock.
You can now play Malorne again for another three 1-Cost Wild Gods.

Paladin or Mage - that new OTK pally deck relies on playing his Wild God and usually gets to play it because he controls the board whole game, so that’s probably your best shot

and I’m having some luck with Smeet’s Imbue Mage running their Wild God (assinine?? sth like that xD), and although I can definitely see the pattern you’re describing, I did manage to get 11 down in 4-5 hours

4 more to go xD

EDIT: Or just use the hc method from the post above mine, lol, and be done with it in 2-3 games xDD

This, around turns 8-10 it will often come to a choice, drop the wild god or finish them winning the match.

But I had no issues finishing this in 4-5 days using the I am a wisp prebuilt deck.

You know this was LAST week’s weekly, right? It’s also bugged so Malorne doesn’t count. We’ve got five days left of this event and I’m still only at 5/15 Wild Gods played.

The problem is that everyone wants to do it in 1 day… You have a whole week to do it and can’t start the next one until 7 more days anyway… Give it time and it will be completed if you have atleast 1 Old God in your deck. Malorne can also help because it is discovering Old Gods only… Yes, ppl give it up early in casual… but not in ranked. If you just try to focus on the Old Gods then it won’t be completed soon thats for sure…

1 advice: If you really want to focus on only Old Gods, put in Taelan Fordring (Divine shield, taunt) and make sure the Old Gods are the biggest minions in your deck. Also The Curator (taunt) can help since it is drawing Beast, Malorne is a Beast type minion. Extra defense may help you make it alive until use them. Good luck!

I used this deck. You can get quickly to full mana and then play several wild gods in one game.

I don’t play as much as most on here, just half an hour a day on average, but I managed it quite easily with imbue paladin, and I’ve since completed the event

I did it in standard ranked play by using only 1 Old God, didn’t even need Malorne. Toke me 2 days with 10 matches a day. Those classes which has no such cards like Ursine Maul still can use neutrals like I mentioned Taelan Fordring and The Curator.

I played hunter and finish it in one day.
1-2 count per game is easy peachy.

It took me about 12 games to get it done but I only had one in the deck. Just don’t care about winning and get that card out. I used a Hunter home brew deck.
