Ouroboros? Has to be a reference to resident evil.

Much like warlock will be the T-virus of the ladder. :joy:

I dont think thats the case ,Resident Evil version starts with a U.

Ouroboros is a serpent that eats its own tail in a circle of eternal return and rebirth.

Yeah but still. Thematically makes sense. A mutated abomination that also spreads itself. Much like this minion, I imagine.

An ouroboros is a mythological symbol of a snake eating itself. I have never played resident evil, but odds are both that and the hearthstone card are based off of that

Ouroboros…that looks fun with Amalgam. Hits Amalgam, Amalgam now has it permanent…which can then trigger on Amalgam again, so Amalgam can gain more and more of these.

Yes, please.

Looking forward to these shenanigans in both wild and standard.

This is so my playstyle

You definitely want a fairly minion heavy deck as well. Hate to be caught with no minions in hand.

Looks like this is the half of the cards that rogues won’t use as much, but there can still be uses.

Rogue can also take damage if they use their weapon to attack minions and such.

The legendary could eventually give a rogue a strong taunt, something the class rarely have without stealing. The DR effect doesn’t work well if rogue likes to bounce things though or is spell heavy.

Cursed souvenir may be used as part of some combo. Concerige should work on tourist cards right? Or you can switch to another hero first.

Like there is currently a possible two turn kill combo with sonya where you make some copies of sonya on first turn and bounce them all back, then on second turn get a billion copies of deadly poison to swing face.

With enough cursed souvenirs you may do the same thing, but you only need them to have a minion to buff and not for taunts or your face being frozen.

Lol ouroboros is older than western civilization

It’s a (originally) vedic symbol for infinity and cyclic nature of things, a snake eating its’ own tail

On topic - nice cards…the legendary one is kinda sus, lol, looks strong

Just realized something afterwards… while you don’t want to bounce the minion with the DR effect, bouncing Vona may be an option… though I think there are better bounce targets for rogue (going ogres and ogre boss comes to mind if you’re looking for a battlecry that spawns a board… ::why_not_both.jpg:: )

On the one hand its nice to see continued support for an existing archetype… on the other hand ‘painlock’ (at least in standard) is pretty boring to me.

These also seem really bad for rogue. Not that I’m going to cry for rogue but it certainly seems like some classes had dual class support built into the design phase… this not so much

Just call it what it is - brainlock xD

Fearless Flamejuggleer could be good for Rogue. Weapon something down play an other stated 2 drop. Legendary could be good too as you take damage weaponing things.

Unfortunately unless they nerf the Waterdancer significantly that will just be the deck after the next expansion and that’s just sad. It’s only really playable from a good high APM player.
