Now, I know the title of this thread might make you think this is some kind of anti-highlander whinge thread, but it’s not!
Seeing as some highlander decks have really taken off and everyone sees them all the time, I thought I throw together a thread full of off meta, home made Reno decks that you don’t see.
Feel free to drop in and share whatever highlander/Reno decks you’ve been playing with.
To kick it off, here’s my Reno pally I’ve been having a blast with recently:

I feel physical pain when I get cucked by lense.
Worth it for the turn 5 Phaoris’ though.

Reno Rogue and Reno Shaman need some attention too, imo.

Funny enough, Rogue was one of the only classes capable of making a decent C’Thun deck that could also host Reno. Blade of C’Thun could provide C’Thun all the power it needed in one go, and Rogue’s knack for replaying things helped both the C’Thun and Reno side of things. Doubt it’s viable anymore, but it was still fun.
Reno Shaman is one I want to get more into. Shudderwock is such a high potential card, and goes well with so many Shaman archetypes, it really acts as the glue between Shaman decks. The only catch is, I’m not sure how to build it nowadays - I used a Reno-Mech mix way back, and Reno-Jade doesn’t seem to scratch the itch, but maybe I can figure something out with Reno-Quest that has results.
Honorable mention to Reno Hunter, which was amusing even before the coming of Brann 2.0. Cards like N’Zoth and DK Rexx made it one of the better value decks, and the surprise of playing Reno to fully heal from a Hunter who was beating your face in all game was no doubt a surprise to many.

I still enjoy a Reno’thun deck in wild. I don’t ladder with it, but sure have fun playing it. Zephrys had added some great shenanigans to the deck.
Im currently memeing out a quest reno shudderwock OTK in wild and while its slow it can pack up enough removals and powerful battlecries, but Ive dropped the jades they arent powerful enough as one ofs. 70% win rate small sample rank 10.

I have homemade Reno Mecha’Thun Warlock with new quest and Plot Twist. It gaves you an opportunity to draw in late game, which is not that easy with normal warlock. You often have full hand and can’t draw without risk of burning combo part and also all those 2dmg self hits are too much to survive against some decks.
I want to keep the build for myself, but I can say there is also Dirty Rat and new plague card. I got 20-9 Rank with 80%+ WR.
