The rating on the battlefields

In one of the latest updates for the battlefields, they made an unburned rating, after gaining every 500 rating points. So I scored 5000 +, but not above 5500 rating and after a few losses I dropped to 4997, not 5000. Why did this happen? Is this some kind of mistake in the game?
