The new warlock burn card

Should be nerfed to burn 3 cards not your entire hand.

The card would be almost useless this way.

If you feel this card is fair explain what makes it fair and balanced in its current state.

Hearthstone is, quite frankly, not designed well enough to deal with mass hand disruption. It just doesn’t fit with the game as a whole.

No, it should be buffed to burn your entire deck and hand.

I think it could be something like 5 cards but 3 is way too weak.

I dont mind your class being strong i just think that the entire hand is abit too much.

Should be reworked into something useful against aggro and control, like after 3 turns burn half of the cards in the opponent’s hand or something.

I’m trying to grief control/combo with two far watch post two immolate, but so far after two games I went against aggressive tempo/midrange decks that were just dumping cards on curve, so the immolates sat in my hand as dead cards and instead I had to aoe and throw abyssal curses in their hand and watch their portraits explode.

This is the answer. Full stop.

No it wouldn’t.

Your turn

Are u basically sayin that u are unable to play 3 cards in 3 turns? Lol

In a meta with more control Immolate would be a really good card. Just too much aggro and tempo at this point because it’s the most efficient way of playing and you reducing worrying about cards like immolate or even curses if all your cards are fairly low cost anyways.

I’ve tried it a bit this afternoon, faced 2 control decks in about 10-15 games, against a warrior he had finley so it did nothing and in the other game against a druid I won but I never knew how important it was since I couldn’t see the 2 burned cards. In fact, 2 was the maximum number of cards I could burn in every game. So even though I still hate its design, I might have overreacted a bit when I said it was a 100% guaranteed nerf :eyes:
But I did say I thought it wouldn’t be good, specially when it’s not played on curve, but I was sure it would be nerfed since in the right matchups it wins the game on the spot. What I didn’t anticipate was the fact that control-value and combo-control will probably be less relevant than I thought, at least those that include cards that cost more than 7. Even Kazakusan and Onyxia seem to be too slow now.

Could be the entire hand but give 5 turns to spend the cards.

so in other words EXACTLY what I told you.

Had the card used on me for the first time last match. The animation is pretty sweet!

I don’t understand all the hate. The card looked bad (but fun) when it was revealed and it turns out that it’s bad (but fun) in game.

Yeah you’ll win those bragging rights… haven’t missed by that much since Glide.

Not even that since seeing what you burned is half the fun.

oh no, you can’t play your Control Warrior without losing 5 critical cards, you greedy pig? Boo hoo.
