The Movement of Pride nerf is depressing. And a suggestion

I get that it was too consistent and they want to keep card text simple, but man … Talk about a punch in the gut. You couldn’t make it like “Draw a minion that costs (6) or more, it costs (6) less. If you have none, draw any minion instead.” Could even change it to it being (5) or more. But this. I personally am not a fan of the card swinging the other way. Going from super powerful and consistent, but frankly not broken due to OTK and Aggro continuing to exist, to roulette mage dogwater. And I normally like random stuff with Mage. Having it be a conditional draw still, but wider, would hurt the consistency without making it a liability if you have any low cost minions in your deck.

I doubt the suggestion I have will reach the eyes or ears of any of the devs, but no point in not sharing my thoughts. And in case one would think “well then just don’t put any other big minions in your deck that cost 6 (or 5) or more, still broken”; it wouldn’t be. Because you badly limit which minions you put in your Warlock deck. So it’s still a pretty hefty nerf. Especially since, as long as you’re not facing Shaman or Mage (or other Warlocks) right now, your opponent is likely unwilling to carry sufficient Tech cards for big minions, wanting to double down on their deck’s strategy and limiting general bad top decking. In general play I mean. Never been in Legend or even Diamond Ranks, but I assume those concessions are made and they’re rewarded for it. Also, if your only minion to fit this less reliable tutored card draw is our Titan boi, you could just draw him before you get to use Movement Of Pride.

But hey, this is just my two cents. I’m not some pro player or Legend Player. But this is just my thoughts on the matter regarding one effect of seven of quite possibly one of my favorite versatile cards in the game.

Let it go chief, it’s dead

It’s not like they made a collectible card dead
They made 1 out of 7 cards generated by a collectible card less consitent.

Besides, you might reduce Dar’khan to 1 and double copy it to melt your opponent’s face off instead of dragging out games. See? It’s not all bad. You guys love high rolls right.

Was already doing that if sarg was in the hand.

It was a good change that didn’t kill the rest of the card.
