Now it’s just back to face. My last 10 matches in diamond 1 and 2 have been nothing but face hunters and aggro secret pally.
Pen flinger nerf was needed, but nerfing cards like watch post and jandice has just encouraged the blatant overplaying of face decks. I’ll admit I prefer to play a control deck. I’ll be flexible when needed, but this is just ridiculous.
Going to have to check it out I guess. Playing all these face hunters makes me want to smash my phone into a thousand tiny pieces.
The easiest deck to counter in this game is Aggro Face Hunter, you do know that right?
You can specifically make a deck from DH, Priest or Warrior that make Hunter win rate 0%
You are exaggerating clearly. If it was the easiest deck to counter, it wouldn’t be top tier at all levels of play right now.
Actually face hunter is popular because matches are fast and tons of delusional people are trying to climb with control warlock.
That is just incredible unfavored against it.
Yet if you look at matchups on HS Replay outside of Secret Pally and control priest decks, face hunter has very high winrates against most other decks. It isn’t just beating control lock, it is beating most everything other than paladin and priest. Priest being garbage in general, if you play Priest just to counter face hunter, you lose to most everything else.
Yes, instead of having a good win chance my opponent will be treated to agonizing long games to the last card.
How are Lunacy Mages everywhere better than the current meta? You like to lose against RNG?
You’re in high Diamond rank where it gets the most competitive while everyone is making their best effort to make it to Legend. Secret Paladin and Face Hunter have the highest win rate against most matchups but there are definitely decks out there you need to explore that counters them for you to climb (to be honest, I’m not sure how they can get a decent winrate over 50% to climb if half of their matchups are mirror).

It’s really just an opinion. I had an easier and more enjoyable time against lunacy mages than I do against face hunters. I think the “spillover” to hero damage of current face hunter is over the top. Piercing shot needs to only be able to target enemy minions. You shouldn’t be able to target your own 1/1 to deal 5 damage to enemy hero’s face.

If people didn’t whine constantly and just learnt to play the game with what they have, the game would be so much better.
But y’know the community has the game it deserves.
I’d rather have aggro decks than Tickatus warlock being dominant lol.
Rally priest looks fun but those statistics are not very enoucaring. Not a single card has a 50%+ mulligan winrate.
Also its only 2 classes that can win against hunter?
The face meta is very boring tbh. The 8/8 from demonhunter is very op and so is the trample rino from hunter. Control decks are supposed to have an advantage over agro but not a single control deck outside priest has an advantage.
