The meta right now is hunter, demon hunter, demon hunter, demon hunter, paladin, paladin, demon hunter, paladin, demon hunter, demon hunter, then the very stable genius bomb warrior deck. The meta is very boring, non interactive, and not fun.
The only variation within the meta is if the paladin deck is going to be broom, demon hunter is going to throw in “HEY LOSER”, or hunter is going to be highlander. THEN if you are “Lucky”, you get the privilege of playing against the very stable genius bomb warrior deck. I’m not even salty, I got to legend this month playing galk rogue, but I got lucky with my string of games getting to legend.
It’s just that the power level is so high within these 4 decks, that no other deck can break through and be efficient in the meta. The other issue is that you can’t even play a meme deck because early board control with hunter, and huge face swing turn with demon hunter is so efficient. This means that the meta allows 0 experimentation.
I just hope the next meta is a little more diverse and fun than the one we have been facing now for the past 3 months.

Yeah, agreed. I just stopped playing constructed altogether until Nov. 17th.
Decayed quite a bit at legend but I don’t want to play in this current meta anymore because it feels like a full-time job.
Hopeful for the new expansion release in a couple days.
It probably won’t be much different without a big swath of nerfs to those 4 decks. Those top decks might add in a few cards from this set but to slow down a meta you need efficient early game taunts, healing, and board clears and we just don’t have that in this set. The board clears do too little damage for when they come down and the taunts are either too small or come online way too late to meaningfully slow down aggro decks. As for paladin they’re strong because 0 mana spells have always been strong and paladin is able to chain almost infinite 0 mana spells except against priest if they aren’t careful.
No.The powerlevel isn’t “too high”.
People like you that were dumb to ask for nerfing cards because they “hurt your feelings” .
While i think it still blizzard fault because it’s they who actually do it despite of how much people ask…
I still lowkey enjoying people getting even worse feelings from the game by consequence of what they asked to be done with it.
I not really expect they to learn anything but atleast I know that I not the only one feeling bad about the changes despite of how much people act like they were “correct”.

Care to share your galk rogue list?
The original had +1 questing adventurer and +1 spymistress. I would try the the original decklist first with the spymistress and questing in it before doing the +2 swamp ooze. I put the swamp ooze in because I was running into a lot of bomb warrior and I was getting tired of the constant huge swings out of soul demon hunter. Spymistress is better tempo against hunter and ooze usually doesn’t help you in those situations.

Token Druid is much worse fighting than demon hunter, if I’m being honest. I haven’t seen as many DH’s as you have clearly, but I still believe Token is the more pressing issue at present. That, and Reno Priest.
Control alarming shaman has been letting me out heal everyone so far, hit D5 yesterday with fairly minimal effort.
I think there is some room to prey on people with off meta decks right now.
This I can agree with. Although I’m guilty of playing Demon Hunter to climb, I can attest that is fing disgusting to be able to deal 7+ damage to face, heal that same amount, clear a board and put a 5/5 on board on turn 7.
Likewise, paladin can highroll into a 3/6, heal for 8 + 8/8 taunt divine shield on turn 4, and play infinite ping.
Hunter is so bloody consistently aggressive, even a perfect Mulligan with Mage is like a 50/50 chance with no mistakes.
Constructed is basically dead in terms of experimenting. Rank 10 bronze is soul DH/paladin/Face hunter. Rank 7 silver, rank 3 gold, rank 9 plat, rank 5 diamond… it’s all the same everywhere. i don’t play Wild but from what I gather it’s worse, expectedly so. Turn 1, 8 damage on board token druid. Or facing priest with unilimited resources. Where’s the middle ground anymore?
Its Duels.
Just had a 8 win streak snapped by a libroom pala who had the most luck anyones ever had in HS. That combined with the deck being stupidly op means you just jam cards and win.
Hopefully the power level of other decks keeps it in check during the next exp.
The meta is very stale but you can sort of adjust to it.
I easily streaked to legend on the first day with Mountseller Druid and maintained a very high winrate against DH (duh) and all the decks the Kael’thas version would usually struggle with (Broom Paladin, Control Priest). My winrate against the 3 of them is around 70%. The deck feels good to pilot nowadays all because Hunters and Bomb Warriors pop up significantly less often.
And if you don’t mind auto leaving against the occasional Priest, Control Warrior with Bloodsworn Mercenaries and the strat to copy Rattlegore or Kargath is also very good against DH and Paladin.
One word: this game sucks. They rather spend time to those money grabbing new stuff rather than fixing up the mechanism on the obnoxious DH and Priest.
