It should be tracked accounts that frequently “disconnect”. Because they don’t disconnect due to connection dropping, they put their phone to sleep or airplane mode it so the client can’t communicate the person has quit and the other player is stuck waiting for the huge timeout.
Every five times you do this within a 30 day period should shorten the timeout period to see if you reconnect. What happens if they do actually drop connection? Too bad, you have been a potty player and are being punished.
The final punishment should be to have these accounts be unable to squelch their opponents with emote sound effects set to 20000000% volume.
what’s the hurry op? who is so into hearthstone these days that its like some big deal if a match takes 5 min longer due to 10 ropes or whatever. the only thing i can think of is a sale at lane bryant or something like that for sure would pressure someone. that and looking for pimp my ride vehicles on etsy or whatever i mean that’s time sensitive sh i mean stuff.
They should add a secret achievement that reads “beat X opponents by making them disconnecting”.
I don’t find it a big deal: it usually lasts 2 turns before they automatically explode, which makes the win even more satisfying, expecially against meta decks
I play on mobile only, and the number of times I’ve been disconnected…man oh man. I miss turns and recruit phases in BG very often.
I always try to reconnect to the games. On occasion, the game will not let me back into my game, and I just get a loss.
I have a LOT more issue with the actual network servers. How about every 5 D?C’s you are refunded 20% of spent money?
How do you know they are not actually disconnecting?I have had ti,es where the game D/C’s me 5/6/7 x ONE GAME.I also watch a lot of other streamers and the D/C happens all over the place everywhere all the streamers.
I don’t think there is any exact timing it is just sporadic you hit the wrong time of day and it is a nightmare.
This is also a VERY sluggish game it is a very low poly game that should run on a toaster so there is some VERY shotty work by their game coding and networking teams.
