The game freezes, slow, cpu hog

Why on Earth is the game so terrible now?
CPU hog, freezing, crashing etc.
I am playing on a 8 core CPU, and this is the only program I’m running.
The problem definitely lies with the product.
One might assume that since you clearly aren’t spending any money on designers and creativity, that you could at least make sure the game functions well.
So frustrating.

It’s not just you, took a near 2 year break and came back to a bug riddled game holy cow. The boot up takes forever now and likes to hang and force 100% cpu usage until you task manager>end process. There are other bugs that still haven’t been addressed either but it’s Activision, what were y’all expecting.

They are focused solely on Asian market, NA/Europe peeps are just cash cows, big money is in deceiving Asians now  hell even the streaming aspect took a big hit in them 2 years, iirc a near 50% reduction in viewers.

It is what it is :man_shrugging:

Yep it’s bad, and it’s been going on for months now.

Tbh I have stretches of play where it works “just fine” but it will crash if I try to stream HS application on Discord.

Here’s a video from Zeddy about it: https://youtu.be/F84b2wqw97I

From a PC perspective, I think the Bnet Launcher and Hearthstone need to be built into a 64bit version. Why in 2025 are we using a 32 bit version?

On mobile, maybe they need to drop support for older iOS and Android versions?

Finally, maybe just review the existing code for optimizations? I would love to see them give us a patch that just stated that performance and reliability improvements were implemented!

On mobile just don’t install all game modes, didn’t install bgs/mercs/solo and rarely crashes.

PC doesn’t have that luxury unfortunately

And I was blaming my poor innocent lapttop integrated graphics for the iissue, nice to see this topic.
