Saw this on reddit. Is it true???

Lol, that is great. I love this joke.

It’s a Zeddy joke that is making fun of the Renathal nerf.

The reason for nerfing Renathal could be applied to the coin as well and make the same sense, that’s why he posted it.

The biggest takeaway here is how many people are agreeing that the Renathal nerf was bad and want it reverted. I’ve never seen so many people on Reddit agree on a single topic like that before lol

If you look at the “Dev Comment”, you can see that this is a parody.

I see this card every game, that means its broken and needs nerfing right?

I was trying to be funny, thus all the question marks.

Less health in the start of the game = less time to do funny shenanigans.

And yes. The 10 extra health was to much to the point we nerfed tons of cards because of XL decks being a thing.

The game starts turn 1. Not 2 and for sure not turn 5.

Obviously trolling. A nudge to all the times coins wrecked a counterspell or counted for something enabling broken plays like when drakka rogue plays a million of them to get a slightly above average weapon way too early.

Even from back in the old days when gatdgetzan coin coin prep eviscerate backstab drawing a thousand cards.

There is a major difference between Renathal and The Coin is that The Coin isn’t really a card. When you construct a deck you can’t put The Coin in it. Now people will bring up the Rogue card that that isn’t The Coin that card is Counterfeit Coin that is not the same as The Coin.

I mean, this is a game after all. I find it fair that people want to do some fun stupid things over playing Meta Deck#1, Meta Deck#2, etc. And while you may not be a fan of Slower or XL decks, some people do enjoy playing them the same you enjoy your decks. Nothing wrong with that.

Sure. Just don’t expect to Win with that stuff.

When that stuff starts being the norm we have an issue.

let’s be real, Zeddy only posted it BECAUSE there was an outrage. That guy simply follows the trending outrage and “rages” about it.

Sounds very subjective.

Really isn’t.

Just check the foruns for the last 4 months.

We had a entire expansion set for things to actually get longer and what was people reaction?

  1. Get so mad about game ending effects that we did run disruption to the point of get theotar nerf twice exclusively due to it’s popularity.

  2. Get mad also at the disruption to the point of item 1 being a thing.

  3. People getting extremely annoyed because games were getting to near 0 decision after that disruption was gone. With reason.

So basically people not only not like the “degenerate” stuff that happens during the late game but also don’t like the tools that could allow late game stuff to be “less toxic”.

So the solution really is for that “late game” to not be something you can count on happening.

I don’t think he follows them, I think he is the one starting it before anyone else lol

His videos will be complaining about something before it’s an outrage. He complained about the Renathal nerf BEFORE it was nerfed and said he would rage about it.

When you’re a professional complainer you gotta stay ahead of the pack

Exactly, and Zeddy stays way ahead.

The one thing I might, maybe, disagree with is

because I don’t think Zeddy controls the outrage so much predicts it.

And in this case, it really wasn’t hard to predict.
