The Ceaseless Expanse is still somehow playable in wild. just played against a standart hunter deck in wild who could play his Ceaseless Expanse and randomly generated another. should not be possilble do to the ban.

The whizbang deck should be the only way to play Ceaseless Expanse in wild right now. How do you know it was not a whizbang deck?
there was no whizbang animation at the beginning of the match or am i thinking at something else here?
That is Splendiferous Whizbang which has the beginning of game animation, because his decks are made up of cards that can’t be played together. Whizbang the Wonderful gives no indication to the opponent that the deck is a whizbang deck, as the wonderful decks are just standard deck recipes.

the reason its banned in wild is due to paladin, a hunter using it will never cause the same issue

From what I know, the ceaseless expand is only banned to prevent the synergy with holy wrath
So there’s no need to ban a recipe without the card
Even though I don’t get why they prefered to ban the new card instead of the old niche one
