Thanks for the heroic brawl

Just want to get here and say it was fun.

The 1000K Gold fee is both a good way to put some stakes and to keep snowflakes out while getting a exclusive reward for a competitive event is refreshing.

The math is just good too. If you get 50% winrate during on your run you get a little more than what you paid for if you count with the skin.

Just don’t care for the haters blizzard. We need more events who push people into competition rather than just distribute participation trophies.

This is what makes a strong community for any game.

“This is what makes a strong community for any game.”

Rather ironic considering the entire point of your post was to belittle and insult others.

What Gora said, and also

I would say the real snowflake is someone who feels the need to belittle other players over a cosmetic. This totally doesn’t look like someone stroking their own ego /s

Even if you go 3-3, I just don’t think the value is there, I think you are just outright winning to stay out of this heroic brawl. They should have made it so 3 wins gets you 10 packs + the skin and then I would have been enticed.

If you look into the forum, you will get an idea what the community thinks about the heroic brawl.

If you looking for attention then you did everything right i would say.

It’s not like call that is a easy and covenient way to do the exact same thing without do absolutely nothing other than thrash talk.
Isn’t it?

You’re cheap.

Or reddit, or twitter. Or on youtube or on twitch.

The few people that do like heroic brawl tend to be the ones that benefit from it (streamers essenitlay get paid to do it) Or just like destroying new/worse players and making them loose their gold over a actual competive event.

A thug takes out a gun and tries to rob people

People (cop, the guy being mugged, even a passer by, doesn’t matter) takes out their gun to shoot back

You (the robber): OH BUT YOU’RE THE SAME AS ME

Cops actually defend someone.

You don’t.

Bad analogy. Try again.

Fun fact, most of the so called haters were once loyal fans to blizzard the game company, as i speak for myself playing there games for over 25 years (diablo, warcraft, wow, etc) i rarely played any other games.

The dissapointment just grew over the years as money became more and more important over their gaming philosophy which made them once one of the best companies out there.

Its like a bad relationship, once you stop to care, you will move on.

Atleast we still care and want our old blizzard back that once was respected for their innovations, which sadly will not ever happen i fear.

Therefor critic is important to make em realise they on the wrong track.

The wrong track is try to please everyone.

They’re trying that for almost a decade now and things are only getting worse for they over time.

The blizzard we know and love would not stop doing competitive events just because someone will lose.

It’s like i said. The 1K Gold fee is good to keep out who should not be taking part of it.
The same way i have not against events were everyone wins a participation trophy , i have everything against you trying to ruin events that just aren’t meant for you.

Community approach to this event is more like:

“If i can’t Win something than no one should be able to”.

In a game where hitting roughly 52-54% winrate can be considered very good, that won’t cut it in a brawl that requires 7-8 wins before you break even. Mathematically it just doesn’t make sense.

If you put a skin and remember they’re usually sold for 1,5K Gold.

It actually does.

Most people will not run more than a single time anyway.

You should have stopped there. Most long time players know it’s a scam to play this brawl. Most of us won’t go near it.

If one isn’t at the very top of the ladder one will very likely lose their behind in this brawl.

Pretty much this.

Its sole purpose is to lure players to deplete their resources (gold) or spend money.

Its cost and increased rewards are there just to promote it as some glorified exclusive mode for “big boys” so lads and lasses are tempted to try it to “win big”.

It is mode that aims mainly on more casual players relying more on “in game economy” than spending a lot of money (not f2p. just “casual players” that spends limited ammount of money over the year)

If I am not mistaken its for the 3rd time in a row they introduce heroic brawl just infront of mini set release… ya know - deplete resources (gold, gems atm) you could have saved for mini set…

Its great marketing strategy to increase future sales. And thats it pretty much.

Why do people keep reposting this same topic?

If you don’t like it don’t play it.

This thread was actually thanking them for the heroic brawl which is different from the other threads where people don’t like it.

Yes.

Why can’t events be in a good time to somehow increase profit too?

The game already give a insane amount of free stuff as it is and while i not against free stuff without reason…

I find it really bad that we can’t have events were people get rewards for competition because there gonna always have whinning over it.

It’s like i said:
People talking bad about heroic brawl sound more like people who want the skin but have no courage to take it on than valid criticism.

I don’t want the skin. I think the cosmetics are pretty dumb in general.

I think the heroic brawl is a ripoff and a scam to deplete gold reserves before the miniset.

The brawl preys on low information players, and that’s just not good business, imo.

It says exactly what type of opponents you gonna face.

If a player not reads the advice it’s their fault.
