Since I started playing paladin, I jumped in the “concede against quest mage” wagon. No point in playing that match up with a deck without charge/burn/infinite hand refill.
One of them also didn’t respect my turn 1 secret and didn’t play around oh my yogg… to bad I don’t have it in my collection, but seriously: play that coin instead of throwing the game
Even with mage i Farm mage because the meta deck for the class is Just unflexible.
If anything a deck like fire mage would be really good to shift the direction If It gets better.
People tend to not like to lose the mirror class matchup so If fire mage turns into a decent deck It probably gonna replace most Quest mage because of the hilarious way Tony punishes not having Minions on the board.
People would be triple annoyed to lose to me playing as any mage deck than to a Quest mage because i confess that my enjoyment of play mage is to get my own ego up a little.
Like…
Hey bruh. I playing mage and you still managed to lost.
I reached the point that i can take pretty much any Mage deck to Legend regardless of tier, the fact that i get to annoy some likeminded individuals like you if anything is only a bonus.
Dont worry when i climb to high Legend i change to a class thats not on Blizzard clown list.
Play high legend see next to no Mages solves all your problems.
If the game is not fun for many people because of one deck, that is actually reason for them to kill the deck. Like they killed so many while leaving other, stronger decks unattended.
I think Paladin with the 7cost spam 7 murlocs from the deck was nerfed twice while other, stronger paladin decks were ignored, just because it was not fun getting ducked by 7 murlocs at turn 4-5.
The deck has already been nerfed in the expansion prior.
If it is nerfed a second time then it ceases to exist, leaving mage with no ladder deck at all.
Perhaps the geniuses at Team 5 could see fit to give Mage more than one viable deck and that would split the Mage player population, solving many problems at once.
