I was playing rogue, and generated the treasure Spyglass through Treasure Hunter Eudora, which copied Reno, Lone Ranger from my opponent. I played Reno, then later generated and played Bru’kan of the Elements through Maestra, Mask Merchant. At a later turn, I played Tess Graymane, which replayed the neutral card Reno, Lone Ranger, losing me my Bru’kan hero power and Shaman class identity.
According to the Wiki:
“As of patch 11.2, Tess will replay hero cards with her battlecry.”
Yes, but Reno, Lone Ranger is a neutral card, and Tess Greymane is not meant to replay neutral cards.
Reno isn’t exactly neutral
He’s neutral in the collection and deck, but once you play him he switches to what class you’re currently playing so you don’t turn into a neutral class (which exists to some extent fyi)
You’re rogue, play Reno, it switches to a rogue hero, and you’re still a rogue
It was clearly visible when released because he was discounting Lightray
I’m not saying it’s not a bug though
i think i remember reading they did this on purpose to prevent tess from replaying everything no matter the class
Not only that but simply to keep you as your class
If you turned neutral you’d lose every discover option from your class, you’d only discover neutral cards
It’s funny because if you play a different hero with Maestra, and now you play Reno, Reno becomes that new class, so Tess Greymane will then consider Rogue a “different class” and play all your rogue cards
