I was in the middle of a game with a Death Knight deck equipped with the Mage’s Conjure spell, and after reaching a score of 8 wins and 2 losses, a bug occurred that completely ruined my game experience.
During the game, my opponent could no longer play their cards. I could see that they were attempting to take actions, but nothing was happening. After about 20 minutes of waiting, I decided to quit and relaunch the game to see if that would resolve the issue. Unfortunately, when I returned, I found that my match had automatically ended as if I had taken a loss.
This bug not only prevented me from continuing my Arena run, but it also stopped me from using a deck I found to be exceptional, with much potential to go further. I find this extremely frustrating, especially as I was at 8 wins and 2 losses, and this extra loss was unfairly counted against me without me being able to finish the game.
Would it be possible to reinstate me in the match with my deck at 8 wins and 2 losses, or perhaps offer some form of compensation to make up for this frustrating situation? It really ruined my enjoyment of the game, and I believe it would be fair to find a solution in this case.
Thank you in advance for your attention, and I hope you can provide me with a positive response.
Blizzard is not likely to respond here. And they will definitely not be issuing a refund from this forum report. You need to contact customer service, but they aren’t very good and will probably send you back here
Edit: I see you asked for a reinstatement of your run, not a refund, so I apologize for misreading, but you’d still need to reach out to customer service, and I can tell you that you are not likely to reach anyone who can help you
This is a known issue. You disconnected, which is why you lost, 20 minutes before you tried to close and reopen the game. Try to act more quickly next time so that you can return to the game before it is over
You have every right to be. It’s not something I knew about the first time I encountered it. But now that you know it can happen, it’s something to watch out for.
