This I believe. I see ups and downs here. Yes, winning is harder than just playing, but decent players will complete more quickly. I’m more concerned with the cut to rewards.
After all that hot air about not taking away rewards for f2p players. smh.
And to the original thread topic, which I made being unaware of the announced changes, this does nothing for agency. We still only get whatever their dumb system serves up.
IDK I think I would way rather have 250 gold over packs…

Like instead of Hearthstone being only Warcraft which is like Disney being only Mickey Mouse, they make World of Hearthstone of the Stormwatch which is like Disney using all their characters
i enjoy the current quest system, it’s fast n decent payout.
As far as player agency goes, you can reroll daily.

Hearthstone is an item related to World of Warcraft inns, and the game HS itself exists inside the game WoW. It’s an imaginary game inside an imaginary world.

Ah okay my bad, I guess we will need to call it World of Starstone: Town Portals of Hearthcraft
I don’t like it because your re-roll is limited only to what Team 5 deigns to give you, and only one re roll per day.
If you get stuck with a Tavern brawl quest you have to wait a day to re- roll, for instance.
I wish players had more agency to decide what content they play for rewards.
And after consideration, I do think that 250 gold is superior to packs that likely get dusted. ( I know most of mine will)
… are you writing these posts based on the first changes thats the only explanation i can find
you cant be talking about how quests are now

Like I said: I didn’t know there had been any changes announced. The thread for changes was in community, and I never read there.
I know you don’t like the reversion from: “play ten” to " win 5".
Obviously, it could have been better, but playing ten matches was a grind, and while winning might be a higher bar, I would be ok if the XP had been increased accordingly, or even been the same, but it’s not.
I really don’t like the change to the rewards track.
It won’t affect me that much as I have a reserve and only play one class, but I think packs instead of gold benefits the corporation more than players. 250 gold just seems flatly better.

then why are you saying current quests give us less exp than before ?
and why are you glad they ll decrease the exp we get ???
Playing ten matches in seven days is a grind? Are you for real here?
You understand that some players will now need to play more matches to just win the five? That playing ten games at 50% means there is no difference between play 10 and win 5, but now your reward is lower?
Every time you post it becomes more clear that you don’t even know what’s going on or what has happened in the game.
The xp was increased when they changed the quest requirements. They’re reverting back to the original XP numbers, which are much less.
They are decreasing the xp when they revert the changes in the next patch., but mall has no idea what he’s talking about here.
This thread is complaining about things that aren’t true.

Why are either of you attacking me for a difference in opinion or a mistake in perception?
I can finish 5 wins in a day. Is it as good as play ten?
Probably not. But I didn’t like play 10 either, which is why I made the thread.
I made the thread with no idea that there were changes coming.
Could they be better? Clearly. I don’t think these coming changes are an improvement for players, and I have already said that here repeatedly;.
Please acknowledge that now since you missed it elsewhere.
I do think the revisions are aimed squarely at harming f2p, and I’m not sure what the fallout will be.
What I do know is that simply attacking me for what you incorrectly interpret is silly, and benefits no one.
Do either of you have anything at all to offer that is constructive?
Because I would love to hear ideas that would have been an improvement over what We are getting.
Offering anything else is simply attacking me for reasons of your own.
That’s not what’s happening here at all.
Factually innaccurate is not a “difference of opinion” in any way.
But the issue is you’ve missed the changes from the past.
You should ask yourself this before every post you make. You complain about everything.

So, I am trying really hard to be constructive, right now, in real time.
Do you think that the announced changes will harm f2p? Because I do, particularly the Rewards track change.
How do you feel?
Is the rewards track change something f2p needs to be concerned with?
Do the Quest changes and the claims that they will mean easier completion seem accurate to you?
Questions like this seem like a worthy conversation to have.
Wouldn’t you agree?
And beyond the announced changes, a couple of things.
One thing they did nothing about at all is agency, and making the quests feel any better, or at least I don’t believe they have.
I would love to know what others think here.
Play 10 games is far easier than win 5
Anyone who says otherwise is missing a brain

I agree, and said as much. But I can complete 5 wins pretty quickly.
I’m bothered more by the changes to the track and the reduction in XP.
Those seem aimed squarely at harming F2P.
