Who even is the new lead game designer? I hope they didn’t hire internally because all these losers are the same self loving under-qualified clowns.

I cant be bothered with it. In the end its their game,their loss.

At one point the only thing you can do as a player of such games is to let it go.
Doesnt mean you have to stop playing completely,you have to stop caring.
Its not the preferred thing to do but at one point its the only option.

With people like that running the game I can see why the “It’s Rigged” crowd believe the game is rigged. However rigged is not the right term for the asshattery that is going on.

Really? Because the whole “there’s a massive undetectable conspiracy to make me lose through infallible AI prediction of unique deck matchups” really doesn’t jive with the whole “they can’t even balance the game” complaints.

Yeah. I love seeing a 12/12 on board by turn 4. So much fun and my calling it unbalanced means I’m simply bored? Lol. Yeah. I’m soooo bored of losing/winning games with little gameplay.

And what a piss poor excuse for their inability to keep power creep in check. Power creep is a band aid that hasn’t been changed in several years and things have festered for a while now. It will be slow, but it will eventually kill this game.

Blizzard is like you really want to be bent over. Redit is hell no. Blizzard rebuts oh really you want to be bent over hard. I see why they had all kinds of scandals. They all still have the abusing frat boy mentality.

Whats funny is that you aren’t even exaggerating (which people usually do in posts like this.) I literally just came from a game where my opponent had a turn 4 13/13 along with a full board (another 3/2, 3/5, 4/4, and a few more 3 cost minions to boot.)

And the funny thing this guy on Twitter is saying “balance” requests means we are tired of something; bored. So, I’ve been bored since the first time I saw this months ago.

My point is “balance” doesn’t mean boredom. I don’t like a game where my opponent or myself are capable of something like this.

yepp, never gonna reinstall this game if they don´t change the head of the fish and then some and the new team explicitly pronounces a major turn in philosophy.

to Blizz credit the WoW team managed to do just that over the past two years, but i´m not sure lightning strikes twice here.

I get sick to my stomach reading his answers. Talk about distancing himself from the playerbase.

He says if new stuff isnt broken enough we will just be bored and complain.

Sure some people have laughed and complained about DK not being quite up there since its release. But there are 20 times more people who are complaining about the other broken stuff in the currrent meta.

You have to be completly blind and stupid to not see that the playerbase care more about balance than new stuff being op. Actually when new stuff is too op there is lots of complaining.

I am not sure if we should give the dev a break.

I have experience ‘judgement’ as a team where structure and leadership is below par, schedules are unrealistic and expectations high.

But, on equal terms, accompany of such stature should have adequate system and leadership to ensure a high level of quality.

I think the above is a very fair statement. Yet, it’s equally useless too.

Let me Transalte for you Team 5. What people mean about power creep and balance is that the game is too F***ing fast and the burst damage, value and mana cheat are out of control. The game might be balanced relative to itself but what the people complaining want is a slower pace so they can play something besides explode the opponent by turn 4 while or be exploded. All while drawing and playing your entire deck while having a full hand of generated cards that generate more cards infininetly. People want to feel like they outplayed the opponent with meaningful decisions and not just played a game of solitaire or watched a game of solitaire played against them.

I mean, this is the same reason WoW had its big decline. The developers thought they knew better than the community, so they ignored feedback until it was too late and everyone already quit. I have a feeling upper management will be forced to do some Spring cleaning if the devs can’t quickly stop this sinking ship from taking on water.
