So; practically every class other than mage gets a wild deck that can win by turn four.
The prejudice and favoritism is glaringly obvious.
Jaina needs a revert on her nerf.
So the issue is that jaina cant win by turn 4, but not that decks win by turn 4? Happy i donât play wild.
If every other class can have decks that potentially win by 4, then why not mage?
After all, as others have said for years:
âItâs wild.â.
That is; unless you play mage. Then you have to play either a purposely handicapped deck, or some tub of slop that takes all day to win.
I agree. They need to bring back the old portrait.
Well, I remember certain mages used to cry a lot about making every class the same and destroying class identities.
Like back when shamans got some decent freeze cards, those certain mages would cry how shaman âstoleâ from mage.
And I remember certain mages also cried when mage got spooky package and shifting to more of a board focused playstyle like those filthy hunters or paladins. Apparently itâs not good to make mages be similar to some other classes either.
In other words, having other classes copy mage is bad, and mage copying other classes is bad.
I guess, and I will stress Iâm just guessing here, just an opinion to further discussion, the devs have took your feedback and determined that what mages want, and what mage identity should be, is to be the boomer conservative dinosaur of HS.
Everybody else will continue to progress, but mages will stay stuck in the past, with their power restrained to match, so we can say weâre âconservingâ mage identity, and let mages rail on the forums about the darn kids (other classes) these days. Other classes mostly just be like âok boomerâ and ignore mages, which lets mages continue to think theyâre being oppressed.
Back in my day, we have to pay mana, uphill, in the snow, both ways, just to go to school to start a game! Actually no, there was no school. Spell schools wasnât a thing in classic!
Wait until you realize that Blizzard doesnât care for Wild.
Well; they certainly cared enough to kill secret mage.
Not because of statistics or facts, mind you.
Secret mage was certainly not dominating the meta by any metric you care to examine.
So, why then?
I wager that some streamer pretending to be a designer decided they were tired of losing to it with their pet deck.
Both of those are true. Make your point.
Gen Xer. Not a boomer, kid.
And I am anything but a conservative lol.
Reported you for trolling.
Agesim is just as disgusting a prejudice as misogyny or racism.
Thatâs where you are wrong.
Itâs not that they cared. But people wouldnât stop crying about it the way people were crying about Tony Druid. Blizzard just delivers once in a blue moon and leaves Wild on its own again for months.
IMO Blizzard shouldnât nerf nor buff Wild. Itâs not an actual mode, but itâs where they throw away cards to keep Standard âbalancedâ. If you are expecting stability and âfairnessâ itâs preferable to play Standard, as weird as that may sound to some.
As for the âstreamer complainâ part. Itâs possible. Any time i watch Zeddy play Wild, all he does is complain about the broken decks that exist in it. Itâs very possible that things as such affect Blizzardâs decision making, so maybe you are right.
Iâve been playing mage since the game first came out. I think itâs the âcontrolâ variable class, because itâs never been broken like druid, warlock, rogue etc. Devs are clueless, always have been. They not only need to be fired but jailed too. 100% serious, they need to serve at least 5 years in prison for trolling people for so long.
Also with no boots onââand we got nothing for xmas and LIKED it. I think I will make a new mage deck and name it boomer in your honor. Thanks for the laugh!
I enjoy the one long game win more than a 1000 âi drew the nutz highroll gamesâ personally
Yeah, itâs not like Will Smith slapped Chris Rock because he was offended.
Secret mage is still plenty strong.
