Tavern Pass for Gold?

Is the tavern pass upper track available for in game gold instead of real $$ ??

If so, is there a “breakeven” point where is you get to a certain XP level it pays for itself with the XP bonuses you get?

It is not, sadly.

Only BG perks are available for gold.

funny, greedisgood was a cheatcode in a blizzard game
in every game with a bpass that i’ve played, it was always available with gold

What would be the ideal gold ammount for Tavern Pass? By ideal I mean so-so by both players and marketing department.

Battlegrounds perks cost 2k gold. So Tavern with all of these benefits should cost what? 3k-4k gold?

If that would be the case, then who would spend that ammount of gold for it? Tavern pass is part of the preorder, so I guess players without it would be most likely buying packs for gold. Would you rather buy 40 packs (if you do not have preorder) or buy a tavern pass?

welll the rewards are skins so

1500 gold for each skin in it

bpass=20€=15packs=1500golds

There is (or atleast used to be) also some increased XP gain so thats worth some gold too

I mean, they gotta make money somehow.

That’s too bad.

That’s what I was getting at… along the path there are bumps in the XP gain if you are on the upper (paid) track. If you could pay with gold, there’s obviously a break even point if you get to a high enough level.

Oh well.

No, it isn’t. And personally, I’m fine with that.

You’ve never played MTGA? Surprising, given you’re the Spikiest of Spikes.

nope, never liked card games
and it doesn’t change the fact that bpasses in popular games can be bought with ig currency

Uhh…

Do you know where you are?

oh i remember
you love to compare with fortnite

and fortnite has gold but …as far as i know there is no way to use it to get the battle pass

i started playing hs (and hots) because it’s set in the warcraft universe, not because it’s a ccg

if only there was just fortnite, but apex, fall guys, warzone etc…all their bpasses can be bought with gold

And why does MTGA, Hearthstone’s most significant competitor, not count?

It’d be nice to buy with gold, but maybe there was a costs analysis done and they determined that making it available for gold would, in the end, be a revenue reducer. I don’t buy the Pass for $$ but I would buy it for gold. But the overall net effect might still end up as less revenue for Blizz. (And no, that’s not a Blizz are greedy bastards rant; I’ve got much better fodder for those rants).

and why do other games not count?
edit: ah yes, because someone paid you or forbade you from playing anything which isn’t a ccg

It’s not that they don’t count, but they do count less. Being a different genre matters. Expectations are different, and considering MTGA is a direct competitor based on a game with quadruple Hearthstone’s lifetime, it seems quite silly for you to dismiss it so easily just because it inconveniently doesn’t fit your narrative.

Nice ad hominem in place of argumentation though, just more proof that you’ve got nothing.

how so? you’re the only one who plays a game because it’s written ccg on it and not because it’s entertaining

don’t start this, especially when you have literally zero xp on this game
