Tavern brawl is great

Haha, oh man, I can already tell this one is going to be fun. Played shaman. Remembered totems are a class too. Actually crafted a splitting axe, first time ever for a brawl (wanted it for something else also, decided to splurge). Two 4/5 tide callers on turn 4 (they still only give you real murlocs) and the murloc pally quit.

What are you guys playing?

First attempt is a pally with murloc and pirate buff, with a sprinkle of dragon. Use hungry Crab and the crab that eats pirate for targeted removal.

I threw together a Beast/Mech hunter deck cause I assumed that this meta was gonna be dominated by super fast hyper aggro.

Murloc totem mech shaman

Scargill is insane. Elementary reaction, Ice Fishing, Ancestral Knowledge and Underbelly Angler acts as the fuel for this deck. I even run totemic might and totemic (other one) in this deck to maintain an early board.

Is that Crab Rave Brawl?

Yeah, I don’t have him but that popped into my head too. Shaman just has so much clunky tribal synergy that doesn’t quite work normally, ( except for murloc) but does here. I’d patted myself on the back for figuring it out, but actually kind of obvious.

I won by concede after my first opponent tried dynomatic 2 turns in a row.

I’m on the EU server so it’s still 5 minutes before the Brawl’s live here, but my current plan is playing Rogue full of Shadowsteps, Cheat Deaths, Vanish, etcetera to constantly recycle the Crabs for continuous removal.

Not as insane as a 1 mana 3/2 with no other minions on the board (Cogmaster). Hungry Crab is a close second, being a 3/4 if it eats any minion.

Grimscale Oracle + Timber Wolf buffing everything makes for some really aggressive SMOrc. Same deal with Metaltooth Leaper and Spirit of the Lynx.

I did a paladin with the summon 7 murlocs spell, as well as all the crabs I could use. Pretty fun brawl.

Played Murloc Warlock.

Not that fun of a brawl. It’s neat but everyone is gonna plan on using the same general tribe idea.

X2 Hungry Crabs
X2 Golakka Crawlers

I went 4 - 1. It was a useful TB to knock out the 3 daily quest I had. I had fun using the crabs before it caught on. The last person I lost to finally ran basically the same deck but as Hunter an Ships Cannon. Not everyday you see a Warlock use Seadevil Stinger to cheat out Voidlords an Mal’ganis though :stuck_out_tongue:

P.S. Mal’Ganis will buff all your minions aswell.

Ah, yeah, my wild collection is limited so I don’t have a lot of those cards.

My plan was a fail, because it seems I only have 1 Hungry Crab and 0 Golakka Crawlers (not going to craft for this Brawl only).

So, I changed plans and went Warlock for the simple reason I’d have access to Sacrificial Pact. The rest of my deck is all over the place, but it was surprisingly effective. Basically, it’s a simple minion spam deck with Zoobots and Menagerie Magicians, as well as Jumbo Imps for if my stuff dies. In case things don’t go my way, it also has Firetree Witchdoctors and Netherspite Historians to give me the stuff I need.

Ah how could I forget about the CRAB of DOOM?!

I think this Brawl would be good for PvE. Really fun, but not if you are on the losing end.

brought out the ol’ mysterious challenger with some magnetize minions and warleader/coldlight seer thrown in… 8/0 and then got bored

The brawl unfortunately is not well thought of, it might as well have been any minion you play/summon is a murloc bc that’s all you will see.

give it a day, it will be nothing but shaman running crabs/crawlers and anyfin.

Sacrificial Pact, anyone?

This brawl is terrible. All the best cards are from wild set or epics. Crab fest is back
