Since Wednesday, I have been using this Brawl to complete the first two event quests for 8 of my F2P collections, and I have been having a great time playing it.
I don’t remember playing this brawl in 2023 when it first debuted, but I really like it, despite that a lot of games are decided by high rolls, but deck building skills and choosing the best line of play must account for something, because I feel like my winrate has been close to 70%.
For those who do not like this brawl, it’s probably because of one or more of the following reasons:
1). Missing several of the optimal cards for a good deck, and not willing to craft them just for a brawl. This brawl may feel like a P2W brawl for a lot of F2P players, and players who have dusted their old cards to keep up with Standard may feel excluded from this brawl.
2). The abundance of high rolls/low rolls.
3). Some games can be quite long.
4). The control-style of play.
5). Matches often revolve around who draws and gets the best value out cards like Reno, Yogg, Marin, and good Titans, etc…
I spent spent 4-8k dust on each collection to craft cards just to improve my brawl deck. This is not uncommon for me, since I mostly play Standard on my main collection, and I don’t really need to do so on my other collections, so I tend to frivolously use my F2P dust to have fun with the better constructed brawls.
Multiple classes are able to construct a decent deck for this brawl. The most commonly played classes in this brawl are: Mage, Priest, Warrior, Druid, and Warlock.
I used a Mage deck for my first 6 collections, but the meta is shifting to classes with the best control options, like Priest and Warrior. I am currently playing a Priest Deck that I am still experimenting with, but here is the Mage deck that I was playing:

Aviana’s Night:
It’s Aviana’s Night at the tavern and the feeling’s alright! The first card you play each turn will be on the house!
This Brawl uses Standard Deckbuilding Rules.
The gimmick is that every first card you play each turn costs 0 mana. Decks with some late game bombs played early will be expected.
