Tank Bots for xp

I actually ran into two Tank Bots yesterday.

They just hero power and rope out every turn (for XP i imagine). At first I thought it was a person so i was roping back, but after a few turns I started to notice my opponent was hero powering at a specific time interval… and would mouse over his hero power (highlighting it) exactly every 10 seconds.

Some of the bots are more advanced and actually play cards. That’s when you have to be careful because it could actually be a human pretending to be a bot. We even have a forum user here who proudly talks about how he ropes people as Odd Warrior.

odd war is t3…wtf

They are just farming xp. It’s not winning that’s the goal

Its pretty easy to just use autoclicker script aimed at possition of play to repeat the click every few seconds.

For maximum profit its best to use odd warrior and script that rotates 2 positions - Hero Power and Play every few seconds. Or if you want there is 3rd position for mulligan but thats just waste of effort.

Nice way how to progress levels when in a work or when you are sleeping.

Odd Warrior is another archetype to keep an eye on. Odd Warrior is a popular archetype in the Chinese server as (allegedly) one of the most reliable counters to Darkglare Warlock with a potentially reasonable matchup into Secret Mage. While Odd Warrior has inherently polarized matchups, it might play an important role in the future if these matchups become more prominent.

Obviously, I’m talking about decks that can lose to Odd Warrior, not the decks that beat it easily.

Its also automating game play, which in explicitly forbidden. Accounts doing so can, and should, be banned.

There’s little you can do except kill them fast in Ranked.

But if it’s Casual just concede. They gain nothing from your concession.

Yeah sure. I see how they would prove I am using autoclicker script that doesnt inject anything to a game unlike the bots do.
How do you think they were able to recognize people were using bots?

I could just be a person with mental deviation and clicking solely on hero power every 20 secs over and over again bring me immense pleasure.

Hero power passing and roping for 20+ turns is more than sufficient, if its done consistently.

You have openly admitted to automating it in another thread as well, and are encouraging others to also break the EULA here.

You dont have a leg to stand on, you have already confessed.

Still its no proof it isnt me doing it.

I can say I am using bots all the time and even being able to hack their client and siphone money from their bank accounts.

Its up to them to prove it

You literally admitted it. They can easily review your play habits and see it.

And if they can prove I was right with my confession and they have a buletproof evidence there is no chance it could have been done by a player instead of a script, I would indeed accept any punishment.

They only need to compare your confessions to your game history.
Thats more than enough evidence to ban you for it.

I really doubt it.

First they would need that buletproof evidence there is no way a human could click on hero power every 20 secs.

Because if I would be contacted about my confession and I would tell them - “Ya know lads, that was just me making a drama on a forum.” all of their evidence is gone in an instant.

They DONT need bullet proof evidence.
They can ban you for any reason they like.
The fact that you have admitted to automating game play is definite grounds for a ban.
And doing so here was just plain stupid. Even if you delete those admissions, Blizzard still has access to them!

This whole post is enough for a permaban. You should really get this off the forums asap if you like your account.

You should really read the EULA.

They won’t contact you and unless you want to lawyer up and fight them you’re just SoL, friend.

I’ve seen people I know banned from Blizzard games for less and there was literally zero recourse.

If I would be banned I would require a reason and proof and I would be happy to sue them especially because it would be kinda laughable if this account I use only for forums would be proven to use some form of bot or “automating game play”

But I think the fight to save an account with 2k posts is worth it.

Again, they sort of own this game and get to make the rules.

You could honestly buy every card they ever made for less money, but whatever makes you happy I guess.

Ya, hope you are playing through a vpn lest your ip give you away.

Why should I use vpn? My main account is played solely on my PC I use only for gaming. Baby account is usually logged on mobile and this one is logged once in a while on my notebook/my wife’s tablet (depends if my wife decides to play).
