I am running Hearthstone on Windows 11 laptop. In the beginning of the game, I used Symbiosis to discover DK card Morbid Swarm. I tried to use the card to summon two ants, but again (as with my previous report on Grace of the Greatwolf) the card summoned TWO EMPTY SPACES.
Do you mean your board acted as though it had two invisible minions?
Because that is different from “nothing” as the title said.
Are you arguing semantics with me? I mean that two empty spaces occupied the board as if there were minions there but there was nothing there. So the card summoned nothing. the two empty spaces could not be interacted with, I could not do anything with them.

I was asking if the spell literally did nothing, or if it summoned invisible minions.
There is quite a difference between those two outcomes.
