Suspicion about these bots

This morning I played 25 games in standard and 21 of them were bots with names like 7fhhehj82bb. Considering they all have names like this and all have nearly the exact same deck with the only differences being based on class, I am not 100% convinced these bots, are 3rd party. I suspect that these bots exist because player counts are so low that queue times would be several minutes or longer and these bots are auto generated to mitigate that.

For a thrid party, there would be almost no reason to run the number of random named bots with identically bad aggro decks that exist right now. Nothing in hearthstone can be traded and its not like there would be alot of prestige to assuming an account at legend rank that is named h4h3hr8g8. Everyone would know exactly how you got to legend. If a bot is even capable of getting there. Then again the volume of bots is huge and someone could be trying to brute force it.

That’s where you’re wrong, kiddo.

The entire purpose of botting is that the botters sell Arena runs by selling accounts that already have a deck drafted. The accounts are mass-produced, disposable, have one in 100 quality decks, and cost less than Blizzard charges for a normal Arena run.

Yep, this why you should report a player for botting with a name like this (a name made from a long string characters), because they are nearly all illegal bot accounts farming gold for the purpose of generating “super-drafts” in Arena.

I dont get it, but they have to make a new account everytime so whats the point?

I honestly thought areana was dead, like more than duels. I was never interested in arena myself because of the extra buy in cost. I don’t understand why people still play it.

I really liked the mode but you’re pretty much right. On the Americas server Arena is dead because botted decks are everywhere.

Wow its sad ranked wild is so low. Its been my favorite for a long time. But bliz refuses to nerf op bs and hyper aggro so it gets frustrating real quick.

No no you’re not wrong no REAL person touches that tab for anything outside of solo adventures. One can’t stick to a dead horse without expecting flies after all. Problem is most people can’t decide if the bots need to go or not. If they did one would be completely screwed if they wanted to climb the ladder, if they didn’t every game mode besides Battlegrounds suddenly “takes too long” cause the bots got a rope addiction.
