Not to make a big deal like “GG DH OP NERF I PLAYED SINCE BETA UNBALANCED” stuff like that, nah… I’m just gonna have my say and I’ll leave quietly…imma be humble, no need for drama or toxicity
The Descent of blizzard expansion had me playing for longer, I had intended to stop early but hearing ‘great plans’ for 2020 I stayed awhile. Although it had become evident that the company not only mistreats it’s employees, opposition with Human Rights with that Hong Kong controversy but also mistreatment of the community, streamers.
You don’t pay playtesters for feedback and you expect the meta were to resolve itself by faster balance logs? I don’t understand, why release an unfinished product that would obviously be a high risk self-execution for your game? It’s like serving undercooked food in a restaurant and asking for feedback without refunds, for comparison. However, perhaps it’s not the design department at flaw, but the business department? I’ll never know, and I don’t care…
I have seen indie companies put a LOT more heart and effort into their games, and these small companies in my opinion, outmatch blizzard. It’s like David and Goliath, truly amazing underdog companies. I don’t mind some unbalanced mechanics as long as the developers are keen on their virtue; compassion into refining their game, greed and human abuse is where I draw the line…
With said, goodbye everyone, the only regret I have playing this game Is feeding the beast, the game has been…lackluster with it’s development over the years…and small-time companies deserve the money for their passion to perform…

Came here to read and post on the boards after I loaded up the game. Got a Priest.
Priest drops Reliquary of Souls on turn 1. So sick and tired of the manipulated game play.
Before that faced a the netback Rage Warrior.
Yep. Has a weapon perfect to draw Pirates right off the bat. Yep, pirate, armor smith more pirates 1 dmg to all my minions wiping them out X armor for him. Well that was another perfect top deck of Xs to Os.
This game is just so tiring and boring. Actually going to load up Civilization 6 after months of never playing. Even though that game to has the same problem. All roads lead to the same outcome every game. At least it will be entertaining for a few hours instead of dreadful bore right off the bat.

They have no obligation to do this. At all.

Well, I already did uninstall, this post is just the final nail in the coffin. You see it’s hard to get off an addiction, back then HS was super addictive and quitting something daily is hard too. This was months in the making, playing lesser and lesser until I finally said NO MORE. No more returning for daily quests, no more farming gold for adventures, don’t bother with the free content.
Why I quit however was because other games were able to capture that addiction again, something that HS had lost, like basically devoid of the charm that pulled me into playing. Those games are from some indie companies put far better effort and passion than many AAA giants, amazingly good work even though their small company size. For HS, it just felt so painful to play, I had to stop…the game was literally giving me anxiety even though I’m a coolheaded person. I can’t sit still can play like I used to. Also the company lacks moral ethics, good business practices, yea I think many people know so I won’t deep dive that.
Overall it was easy to just uninstall, now I’m just putting my resolve. After all, I’ve been playing for years. I can finally put this game behind me…
I play casually and even that is getting annoying with the repeative meta decks over and over.
If I wanted tryhard sweats I’d go into ranked not casual.

Which game? I am currently into hardcore difficult dark souls-like constantly dying mentally emotionally challenging skilled games, I have even fully beaten HS lich king (get Arthas hero), LoE heroic, Karazhan Heroic, RoS heroic, Saviors of Uldum heroic, Rastakhan rumble, Kobold n Catacombs, Descent of Dragons heroic. The last one was child’s play. I know there’s more in HS but I’m not interested in the new DH adventure, I have found more brutal options…
