Can’t believe he is still going strong. Beasts in play? Add that with Galakrond, Malygos, Cookie, well any discover based power and there’s your winner. Hell, even saw one guy on round 5 have him stealth with rat pack (never saw so many concede in one game). But not here to vent or troll (ok vent a little), I actually have a question and an idea.
question: Do legendary minions have a smaller number of copies in the minion pool?
my idea: A minion that silences, if its a deathrattle, great, if it does it on attack then make it the way they redid the poisons into venomous. One shot deal.
Its just a fancy portrait.
They could just revert venomous to poisonous. Instead of a minion that silences.

My only gripe with Beasts is how one can easily flip to them without much effort or consequence. Same for Mechs.

You can literally buy slamma and hold, if you don’t have beasts for him to buff at the time. As soon as you hit a couple of those beasts, you can switch pretty easily.
I don’t know why but if I’m not doing beasts, and I see slamma in the tavern, I feel like I should just buy him. I know it’s bait a lot of times!

I never touch the comp. I’ve been offered the Quest “Trigger DRs Twice; Recieve Octowrap” a couple times. As soon as I completed the Quest, I dumped Octo when it was beneficial. I will never run Beasts unless I’m full on serious climbing (I’d still try to make something else work, I think).

Honestly, I feel that undead and mechs are just as strong, if not a bit stronger. Depending on hero.
The beasts are strong of course but the dream composition does take some set up and of course luck. While trying for that comp, you can easily fall to a strong board of other builds.
I am personally, currently, and have always been, a menagarie player if I can build towards something good and fun.
Undead is definitely up there. Coincidentally, one of the instances I threw away the Octo was the combo early Anub/Handless with a Radio Star for early economy and leveling.

They were 100X worse when leapers were still meta. Now if you happen to get lucky you can get a reasonable beast slamma build but it can be beaten.
