The problem is that the screen doesn’t show properly. But the buttons are working. So you have to click (guessing location) until you push the handgrip to get the rewards.
I have this problem on Mobile so I can’t play duels at all anymore. until the next update?

After 5 minutes of trying the workaround finally worked. I clicked “resume” and got stucked. Then I clicked on the screen like crazy and managed to hit that spot to claim rewards. You just have to click resume first.
this is not professional. The work around doesn’t works. Fix it asap please.

The workaround did not work for me either as I had the starting screen. Hitting the resume button gave a tingly fairy sound and some sparkles and then…nothing…dead
BUT, on my mobile phone i just started ‘tapping’ all over my screen not necessarily where I thought I should click and it did work.
Just tap systematically all over the picture part.
I finally hit the invisible handle to conclude the run and now have a play button.
Hopefully a one off occurrence , hmzzz

Had this issue all week. Here is how I solved it, but this may not work for everyone due to limited number of devices. I was locked out as others say, “Tap Resume, little sparkles, game locks up.”
I tried the workaround on my PC and iPad. Nothing. So, I downloaded the game to my iPhone. Logged in and got to the Duels screen. Clicked Resume and same sparkles and lock up. I then clicked all over the picture in the area where the shiny blue rewards handle should be, and sure enough, two boxes appeared for me. Clicked the rewards and game reset itself. So, it may be that you need to use a phone to do this. I did this on an iPhone BTW, so not sure if this works on Android.
Not everyone has another device to login and try this but if you have a family member or friend who lets you use their device to download client and login to get this done, that might work.

I tried the work around on both iPhone and iPad and it did not fix the issue.

your work around does not work for me…so im supposed to wait 4 months for the next major update to be able to play duels again just because you guys are lazy…thats bull and if that is what happens i wont be playing hearthstone anymore

Same issue, and I can’t finish a weekly reward because of this issue. I played since 2014 and I’ve never seen such a huge bug. Incredible that we have to wait the next patch

On Ipad it does not work for me, but on android it was ok. Thank you.
This worked for me. I did it on an anroid. Nothing on PC/Ipad, but managed it on my mobile.
Agree with @mcsnackys
At the very least you owe us an explanation on why you won’t implement a hotfix or something of the sort and would rather willfully choose to make your paying customers suffer longer.

J’ai réussi. J’ai cliquer sur reprendre, puis le jeux s’est bloqué (c’est ce qu’il me posait problème) puis j’ai tapoté partout sur l’écran jusqu’à ce que le coffre fort apparaisse et les récompenses aussi.
J’espère que vous y arriverez aussi et que blizzard mettra le correctif rapidement !

I succeeded. I clicked resume, then the game froze (that’s what I was having trouble with) then I tapped all over the screen until the vault appeared and the rewards too.
I hope you will too and that blizzard will put the fix soon!

Workaround didn’t work for me. I don’t think it’s fair that we have to miss out on the lunar new year’s events if were locked out of the game mode!
Update: tried again on mobile, clicked resume and didn’t fix. However, after a few minutes of rapidly tapping the screen, the rewards finally showed up! it only worked on mobile from what I can tell. I’m on android.
Workaround did not work for me…and now the lunar awards can’t progress because I can’t play duels…….

Having the same issues and the work around suggested did not work on either my iPad or PC. I can’t progress on the lunar awards as a result of this issue. Please fix this prior to the next patch!
