So I’ve just encountered a bug. I ended my turn in an Arena match. It says Enemy Turn but their mana hasn’t regenerated and they haven’t drawn. It’s been 15 min and no rope has appeared. We are currently stuck in Purgatory until someone disconnects or concedes.
You disconnected 15 minutes ago. The game is already over, and you probably lost
I did eventually close the game because I couldn’t be asked to sit staring at a frozen game for eternity. I want to make the issue known to hopefully avoid others being stuck like this.
It’s been known for many years. It’s one of the posts pinned to the top of the bug reports forum
It does sound similar, however I could still see whenever my opponent would hover over something and we could still use the quick chat system. That’s why I figured it might not be a connection issue. Could definitely still be connection related, but it does seem a bit different from that post.
I can assure you that it is not. But I do want to point out that there used to be an image in that post that I only just now realize is no longer there, and it helped explain things a bit more, so I apologize for thinking the image was still there.
Essentially, there are multiple connections to the game. The connection for emotes is not the same for the game for some reason. Your opponent probably thought you were just using the emotes and not playing any cards for no reason.
