I’m a returning player; gold-platinum last month, and so far too this month. I like playing fun decks, not meta decks, meaning I lose a lot. It’s like whenever I lose a match, I get queued against a Blizzard bot. Why are they so prevalent? I don’t want to play bots; only players. What can I do?
Sadly there is no way to opt out of them other than by simply winning enough to where your mmr no longer queues you into them. As usual, blizzard’s policy is that they think they know what you want better than you do and therefore they won’t give you a choice.
You see what happened was noobs complained about losing all the time. Blizzard changed quest so you could still make progress even when your are losing but that wasn’t enough for these noobs. So they took the next step and gave us Blizzard Bots for the noobs to get easy wins. So unless you have a time machine and some kind of mind control device there is nothing you can do about it.
When a game developer actually listens to noobs, you do not blame the noobs. You blame the game developer. What you describe is no excuse for blizzard’s choices, even if every word of that description is true.
you lost a lot
ive been there too was playing a warrior deck so bad it got to a point whenever i won vs a bot played vs a player and then if i lose that game back to a bot
win a few games vs players and you wont see blizzard bots if you get stuck in that loop it just means your deck is really bad so youll have to make some changes if you want to play vs players
(Pre-Post Script) Does this mean I have to keep playing (beating!?) bots until I get real players?
Hi. I have been noticing over the past week that in Standard, I have been getting almost non-stop, repeated bots/ais in que, and it is showing no sign of stopping.
Basically, I log in, pick a deck for standard play, the que either comes up, and then goes away, and then comes back again, or it doesn’t come up for several seconds, and it seems that it takes a solid 21 seconds every time (these are signs that an AI has hacked itself into the que over a real player), and the bots seem to stick to a certain name format such as MagicTurtle, SneakyPants or QuirkyOrc. Always a capitalized letter of the first word and then another capped letter for the second conjoined word. This has never happened to me before and it has only been happening for about a week, (maybe since the last patch?)
Anyway this is frustrating because I’d rather play against real people.
