really, what is this nonsense.
you run a burn deck. your wincon is to chip away early and then finish it with a reasonable combo. What are you putting those extra 10 rubish cards in there for?
Is this what has become of the playerbase after years of bad design?

Then you’d die even faster to the tier 1/2 decks though.
that´s a misconception.
you win those games by freezing their big threats and killing them first. you will not outlast them whatsoever.
With 40 cards you are much more likely to either miss the freezes in the critical moment or you don´t find the dmg in time.
It’s the new control Frost DK and supposedly it’s doing really well.

47,9 is not my benchmark for doing well, and if you´ve played a loosly thrown together 30card frostdk version - i´d wager that is favoured against any of the rogues atm as you usually get the kill turn 7-9 and can keep any relevant threats frozen for the time.
the 40card version neither threatens nor stalls very well from what i´ve encountered so far. and according to the vs the only thing keeping it afloat is a very good matchup vs aggro druid. god riddance.
I wanna try the new VS list because it includes Bonelord Frostwhisper. I’ve been looking for a deck to run that card so I have a reason to craft it, but hadn’t seen much out there yet. I randomly summoned one somehow the other day and killed myself and thought it was hilarious
I still haven’t seen that card a single time. Not played or summoned from Scourge.
First time I cast the Scourge I got Frostwhisper. Won next turn for the achievement. Think I had a zero cost juiced Daddy D prenerf.

Well…
It’s 40 cards Quest hunter logic.
The real question is if they can afford it rather than if there is sense.
