Stonehearth vindicator+Radar Detector

I played turn 5 stonehearth vindicator and draw Radar Detector and yet it still costed 2 mana.

Did you wait until the next turn to play it?

As I understand that it costs 0 mana on turn that its drawn?
Draw a spell that costs (3) or less. It costs (0) this turn

I don’t know why it didn’t work properly. I’ve used this before exactly the way you did, & it worked as intended. Do you have a replay you can share?

Edit: There are cards that make your spells cost 2 more for one turn. Perhaps one of these was played.

A bug would replicate & not just happen to one person for one turn.

shouldn’t the “0 cost” effect overwrite the malus?

It comes from your deck at zero & then increases to two when it hits your hand, so it looks like it didn’t work, but it’s just that their card worked, too.

Contrary to popular mythology the devs do read these forums & if it’s a bug, they will fix it, but I just think it’s a case of “your opponent gets to play, too”.

I’ve just had a game where Stonehearth vindicator drew radar detector, with 0 cost. I played Click-Clocker to shorten my hand size then the cost for radar when back to 2. I dont understand why it would reset cost as Stonehearth reads “It cost (0) this TURN” specifically the spell that was drawn.

Without knowing the full details of the game, it’s impossible to investigate the root cause of the issue. So please, if you can, post a link to the replay of the game on hsreplay, or if that’s impossible provide a video recording of the game or screenshots.
