Why am I still playing against Renathal decks but cannot play it myself??
are you playing Wild? You can get Prince Renathal by buying a Murder at Castle Nathria pack for 100 gold after you open your first pack you’ll get him automatically (he was the free legendary for that expansion).
also if you were playing with the Core version of Renathal you need to take the Core version out and put the Nathria version in. I don’t know why they make it so bad but oh well.

Prince Renathal is a perfectly valid card in the Wild format.
When you say you “cannot play it”, what exactly do you mean?
I’m going to guess you have a deck that contained the Core version of Renathal, which no longer exists and so the deck is marked as invalid.
If it’s a Wild deck, simply edit it, remove the Core version of Renathal, and replace it with the Wild version. Easy peasy.
If it’s a Standard deck, you’ll have to replace Renathal with some other card, as it is no longer Standard legal.
might just need to remove a few cards as renathal decks usually have 39 other cards in them
I am also missing my Renethal! I bought the Signature version when it was out and now it’s MISSING from my collection and red in my deck. Please send help!

Renathal isn’t a standard card, if you don’t want to play wild you can’t be helped

They just brought him back! Why the hell would they remove him? That’s screwed up!
As a promotion to sell the signature(similar with genn and baku) he was legal for the month of October(technically Oct 10 through Nov 5)

I want refund. Right now. That’s so screwed up to bring him back for the tail end of the season to promote the new cards and then NOT have him in the new season. I was led to believe he would be playable, which was the ONLY reason I forked over money for it. Misleading AF.
never were they misleading, you simply didn’t read the post that was made before the signature went up for sale, it is unfortunate for you
It’s red in your deck because that is specifically the Core version, which no longer exists.
Edit the deck, remove that card, and replace it with the Wild version.

I don’t believe it can be the signature version, because there is no reason the signature version would be missing (unless he disenchanted it on purpose, which presumably is not the case.)
The only version of that card that would legitimately be missing is the Core version.
But it is “missing” from standard
who buys a signature then plays the regular?
the card is no longer standard so all he should need to do is click the convert to wild button(assuming it is the signature) for the deck to be playable(in wild of course)
cards that are in a deck that aren’t standard(if you own them) should be red in the deck
Also as a previous post has noted the signature of prince renathal is not obtainable by packs so the only way to obtain is through real money thus like the real renathal it is uncraftable and undustable (that was when signature was released I don’t own so I can’t even check if it is still true)

I assumed “red in his deck” meant it was actually missing.
But it’s red because it’s illegal (it’s a wild card in a standard deck), not because it’s missing.
